BarleyNY Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Are you trying to one-up the poster who suggested signing Tebow to win the highly coveted stupidest post award?
4merper4mer Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Was out in the Bently this morning and heard a show on Fox radio where a guy named North was crushing Luck....rightfully so too. I expect Kim Jung QB and his daddy to get this guy fired but it seems like people are starting to open their eyes. I am also wondering whether the OP thinks we can get a cheaper price on one of his other favorite QBs like Gabbert.
MDH Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Two firsts would be the down payment on Luck. How are we going to finance the rest?
filthymcnasty08 Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 The football gods are watching and shaking their heads....yet again.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Another suggestion that will probably happen today or tomorrow at the latest.
BrooklynBills Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 (edited) This is pretty crazy because if Luck was available for trade the compensation would get much higher than 2 1sts. I will say this: Colts fans are nervous that Luck is going to want out of Indy because they have failed him on offense and the team has yet to protect him with an offensive line. IF Luck were to want out of Indy though, you'd probably have a few teams lining up to send multiple 1sts for him. Secondly, I would suspect the Colts to fire Pagano and hire an offensive minded HC to somewhat appease their star QB. Edited October 26, 2015 by BrooklynBills
Very wide right Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Yeah,if a team is struggling the best move might just be trading away your franchise QB.
r00tabaga Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Please post responsibly. Too many crap threads to sift thru the good ones
Saxum Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 The Colts are floundering this year and Luck has not looked good but it's clear he has done well till now and is regressing because the colts are dumb by getting old stars and no talent around him. Normally this could never happen but their GM and owner like making "bold moves" and might think they are smart enough to great compensation for him and start over. I say two firsts might do it, especially with our poor upcoming record. No need to use two firsts. 1. Trade Mario Williams to Montreal Alouettes for QB John Skelton 2. Trade QB John Skelton to Indianapolis for Luck I saw this based on NFL expert who posts on TSW who said Skelton was best QB prospect since JaMarcus Russell
4merper4mer Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Merge these threads? The excuses for the failed Luck run deep in here. Two firsts isn't enough for an 0-4 QB who clearly took his team out of the game with bad 1H turnovers? EJ did that and he is only 0-2. Can we get 4 1sts for him?
Pneumonic Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 If the goal is to beat the Pats (and it should be) then the last QB you want is a turnover machine like Luck.
4merper4mer Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 If the goal is to beat the Pats (and it should be) then the last QB you want is a turnover machine like Luck. Don't let facts get in the way. You must praise Kim Jung QB.

jeffismagic Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Luck is not going anywhere. He would have to fail in Indy completely to be moved. That would not happen for at least 2-3 years and at that point no one would want him.
The Big Cat Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 You gotta give Barbarian credit. He's nuttier than squirrel ****. But at least he's consistent.
K D Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 why don't the Pegulas just invest in the creation of a time machine and go back and get Joe Montana in his prime? that has a higher chance of happening than this
Mr. WEO Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 The Colts are floundering this year and Luck has not looked good but it's clear he has done well till now and is regressing because the colts are dumb by getting old stars and no talent around him. I say two firsts might do it, especially with our poor upcoming record. So their "bold move" would be to get rid of the best guy (the franchise QB) on a floundering team? This would be "dumb". It makes absolutely no sense.
