major Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 I've worried about this since the day we released Fred Jackson. If we have one, please educate me. Jim Kelly was the team leader back in the day and we all knew it. Who does Rex go to to help turn this ship around?
PO16FFS Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Definitely Kyle Williams in my opinion. But I dont put too much stock in a team leader. I mean, what does Kyle Williams know about the skill needed playing CB or Safety let alone Wr and RB. Oh the team leader spoke, I will try to play better!
major Posted October 26, 2015 Author Posted October 26, 2015 Team leaders are huge. Coaches depend on them; especially, in the tough times. I hate Tom Brady but I know he is a team leader. We need a Jim Kelly type to get in the faces of our players and demand better
PO16FFS Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 You think Brady is a team leader? Team leader on the field or the dressing room? Two different situations I guess.
major Posted October 26, 2015 Author Posted October 26, 2015 I think Brady is their team leader. I didn't say he was a well liked leader. Heck, I remember the bickering bills days with with our guys going at it. I don't think everyone liked Kelly but I think the team listened when he spoke

Boatdrinks Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 I've worried about this since the day we released Fred Jackson. If we have one, please educate me. Jim Kelly was the team leader back in the day and we all knew it. Who does Rex go to to help turn this ship around? Yes, as Jackson's leadership turned many lost seasons into playoff berths. That crap is so overrated. Guys just need to do their job and make plays. The Bills aren't losing due to leadership issues. It's like griping about play calling after every loss. The plays aren't the problem, it's the guys failing to execute them. Leadership wins no games. Making blocks, tackles, runs and throws wins them.
OhDozeBills Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Kyle Williams on D. If I had to choose one on O I'd say Eric Wood. Get over Freddie J already. I love the guy, but Karlos (and you can't predict injuries) made him expendable. Add in age, salary and the fact he doesn't play special teams and the move made sense.
