Shoto Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 How bad can our special teams be, another costly penalty on a nice return. We haven't gone a week without a special team penalty. If you can't eliminate the penalties eliminate the coach, something needs to change.
jeffismagic Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 This is a fire someone thread I can get behind. There is no excuse for holding on every return.
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Someone needs to be held accountable. Its the bye week let's do it and move on
Max997 Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 If you are going to suggest firing a coach you should at least give an example of a potential replacement
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 I would like to see a replay of that illegal block (by Randell Johnson, I think-- or whoever is 58). They showed Rex and another assistant talking on the sideline, and it seemed like they were fired up over that call. Wouldn't surprise me if it was a bad call, seeing as these same refs called woods for an illegal peel-back block, when he hit a guy running straight at him in the chest.
PO16FFS Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Rex wasnt fired up. He said " Who the f.u.c.k was that" One thing I noticed is that Rex doesnt get fired up. More often than not he has the DAC look ( Dazed And Confused ) Other than the 1 penalty, the Special teams were pretty good today. Notice how they improved with a kickoff specialist?
BuffaloBillsForever Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Fire Doug Whaley Fire Danny Crossman ...for now
buffalonian Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Special teams have been atrocious this year. The penalties and bad play led to significant field position disadvantages in the New England, Cincinnati, and Giants games.

bmur66 Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Ron Brooks was that close to getting another taunting penalty for the exact same thing as last week except this time his teammates pulled him away.
PortlandiaEast Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Besides the penatlies, no one seems to be coaching Denarius Moore. His judgement on calling a fair catch and returning a kick seems to be... not good. Hes a turnover waiting to happen.
K D Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 (edited) i didn't realize until this year how Crossman saved his job last year... 1. Jordan Gay - having a KO specialist taking up a roster spot is killing us but it hides the fact that we don't have a good kick coverage team unless the ball is 9 yards deep in the endzone 2. Colton Schmidt - is the man! this guy has to be top 5 best punter in the league at this point 3. ST's specific players - I've never seen so many on a roster before. We have like 10 guys who we keep around just for special teams when they are terrible position players otherwise Now Crossman has been exposed as a fraud. Anyone could look good with a roster catered towards ST's. And he has only looked mediocre. Let's get someone in here that knows what they are doing so we don't have to keep an army of ST'ers on our roster every year please Edited October 26, 2015 by kdiggz
Mr. WEO Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 What is this....2013? Dusting off the old "Fire Crossman" threads. Sweet.

John from Riverside Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Totally agree with this......an example needs to be made
26CornerBlitz Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Randell Johnson seems to get a ST penalty in every game.
John from Riverside Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Randell Johnson seems to get a ST penalty in every game. He is just trying to get noticed so they will actually play him at linebacker Which they already should be doing

Maybe Crossman isn't good enough, but if you were to write this after a bad day you may have a bit more credibility.
