C.Biscuit97 Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Another guy who got his job because of his last name? Awesome.
Manther Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 (edited) If we were to fire Whaley, or let him walk without an extension, than he would arguably be the best GM available. For those 3 1st round picks, the Bills got EJ, Sammy, and Kiko/McCoy. Not too bad of a haul in the guessing game known as the draft. I agree. Just sarcasm for the Sammy haters. I also agree with your Whaley comment. Strongly! Edited December 29, 2015 by Manther

Also, in the latest draft with no 1st rounder, they pulled Darby... who played like a high 1st rounder.
BuffaloBillsForever Posted December 29, 2015 Author Posted December 29, 2015 Mentioned in Browns pursuit of new GM http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/14455884 Wow! If that happens Haslam will turn into a genius. That is a game changer in Cleveland for sure.
26CornerBlitz Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Wow! If that happens Haslam will turn into a genius. That is a game changer in Cleveland for sure. Yeah OK. Elliot Wolf has magic. Either the Browns get a QB or they will continue to be the factory of sadness.
DrDawkinstein Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Also, in the latest draft with no 1st rounder, they pulled Darby... who played like a high 1st rounder. But I read Whaley doesnt know how to draft in the 2nd round because of Kujo? (Just ignore any contributions/value of Woods, Kiko, and Darby)
OldTimer1960 Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 I'm not sure if he has actually written the board but I know he has been the key guy around every draft for the Packers since 1993 that has provided the information that goes to evaluating their draft board...he is involved way more than that though... I guarantee he will be a hot commodity. They better get on him quick. I think he is SUPER bright, young, forward thinking and knows it all when it comes to evaluation and advanced scouting. I would be VERY comfortable with him being in full control of football operations. Without Aaron Rodgers, the Packer's talent level is pretty pedestrian. Before him, having Favre masked a lot of roster weaknesses. Now, if you can say for sure that he can trade for the next Favre or luck into another Aaron Rodgers in the middle of round one, then I'd be very interested.

If we had Rodgers, we'd be in the playoffs carried by one of the best offenses in football. I'd argue minus the qb position, the Bills have more talent than the Packers.
Cleveland Rocks? Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 (edited) Wow! If that happens Haslam will turn into a genius. That is a game changer in Cleveland for sure. Anyone is better than Farmer. Like, ANYONE. Matt Millen, even. Edited December 29, 2015 by Cleveland Rocks?
BuffaloBillsForever Posted December 29, 2015 Author Posted December 29, 2015 To show my commitment to Eliot Wolf. If Haslam hires Eliot Wolf to run the Browns front office I will change my screen name to a Browns handle with a profile picture of Eliot Wolf.

Manther Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Just because your Daddy is good at something does not mean that you are as well. In fact in football it is usually the exact opposite. Reggie McKenzie arguably had more to do with building the current Packers than Eliot. But, Rex is better than his father? Bahahaaaha! If you make a copy of a copy you get....

Manther Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Whaley is not under contract. One year left.I wouldn't say they squandered anything on Sammy.AgreedAnyone is better than Farmer. Like, ANYONE. Matt Millen, even.I understand your point. BUT, Millen may be the worst ever.
YoloinOhio Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 One year left. Agreed I understand your point. BUT, Millen may be the worst ever. in our Browns fan bretheren's defense, at least Millen understood the importance of drafting WRs!

I'm sorry, I don't have directions, but there must be a Browns fan site on the interwebs somewhere
CardinalScotts Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 whaley isnt going anywhere....and shouldn't be. We just have lost for so long we don't know what to do...season over I guess we change coaches and GM's again. Why don't we let Cleveland do that and allow our team to grow for a year - I know crazy
26CornerBlitz Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 @AroundTheNFL Packers promote Eliot Wolf to director of football operations and Brian Gutekunst to director of player personnel

Well, that kind of commitment certainly deserves a reward! I took the liberty of making you a new avatar that matches your new found man love for Wolf. Here ya go...
