So, I have heard some doozies in my time as a Bills fan, including the all time playbook Hobert quote, the Leon Seals "get the hell out of Buffalo" quote and others, but this one takes the cake.

As a quarterback, it is your responsibility to be a leader and accept the fact that when you are terrible, you own it. Today, he chose to ignore the obvious, and proves why over his career in a Bills uniform he has learned little about what it takes to be a starting NFL quarterback. I find it insulting that he would have the audacity to say he did not cost our team the game, and to be honest, I would much rather have someone with less talent who genuinely works to improve themselves backing up Tyrod than a gifted quarterback who doesn't learn jack. He has now put himself in that Rob Johnson category.

Like him or not, it seems the dude works to be a good player. Until someone with knowledge accuses otherwise- seems unfair to hit him with that complaint

This coming from a guy who said he played "solid" last week. He's delusional because he's been told for so long (probably HS) that his sh** doesn't stink.

Maybe when he's out of the NFL next season reality will hit him. Right now he's in fantasy world after that performance.

EJ is a classic case of what coddling does to a player. Hopefully he's in shock, as the other guy said, b/c his career just ended. But there is a chance he is so out of it he doesn't even understand what happened.

Remember the scene in Casino with the guy at the slot machines that Rothstein (DeNiro) fired because he kept being bad at his job, insisiting he was "trying"? Yeah, that's EJ Manuel in a nutshell... I don't buy the fact that he was really trying... zero evidence of that much improvement.

Backup QBs who would have won this game:

1. Matt Cassel.

2. Tim Tebow (really, I'm not kidding. He won many games just like this with the Broncos - games the opponent seemed all too willing to give away while the Broncos just kept running the ball and avoiding turnovers.)

3. Thad Lewis. We saw that with our own eyes.

Cassel's looking pretty good right now.

But he might not be in about 20 minutes! (Still, if we keep Cassel, we are 4-3 right now, not 3-4)
