Acantha Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 If Manuel doesn't score 14 points for the Jags on 2 consecutive plays the Bills win, period. Yeah, but he did, and then they still had 2 1/2 quarters to play. That has absolutely nothing to do with blown calls by the ref in the 4th quarter.
FireChan Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Same hit on Brady results in jail time. Get over yourself. EeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeJjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj ain't Brady.
4merper4mer Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 EeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeJjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj ain't Brady. Rules are should be the same for every player in the league.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 @SalSports Robey: "I beat him to the spot. It was a bad call." Said he knew what route was coming because he saw it on film so many times.
CodeMonkey Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 (edited) SIR: the premise is that the officials shouldn't be deciding the outcome of the game - the players should. The players did, Manuel was the one who decided the outcome. Not one call by one official. People need to stop whining about officiating and realize when you play like a big piece of **** you deserve to lose. Put the blame where it belongs. Edited October 25, 2015 by CodeMonkey
FireChan Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 (edited) Rules are should be the same for every player in the league. They should be. But they aren't; star players get star treatment. The other 28 QB's have to suck it up. Bortles ain't getting that call, and that's who we played today. Not sure why Brady is relevant. Edited October 25, 2015 by FireChan
Gene Frenkle Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Rules are should be the same for every player in the league. Bwaahaaahaaahaaahaaaa!!! Coffee on keyboard.

Of course the players are also to blame but that doesnt absolve that call. NFL games almost always come down to a few kwy plays at the end of games. That was a critical one where the players actually made the play.
CodeMonkey Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 100% wrong. If you honestly believe the Bills deserved to win that game against the worst team (at least they were before today) in football and that one call is the only reason for the loss, then there is literally no hope for you.
Boatdrinks Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Refs screwed the Jags on EJ's phantom roughing the passer call on 3rd down. He hit him around the helmet area. That's a legit penalty. EJ was bad , but that penalty was not.
jimmy10 Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 I'm telling you, conspiracy woo-woo aside, this just looks bad for the NFL. Foreign country where gambling is legal + suspect officiating. Bad combo.

It's not about "deserve" dude. They had the game won. If the ref doesn't throw a bogus flag, the Bills win the game. These NFL officials should be flipping pizzas and directing crosswalks but instead week in and week out are are ruining the product, and unfairly and wrongfully deciding the outcome of a multi-billion dollar business. It's insane to me. The Jags deserved to lose just as much as the Bills did. How can you say the Bills deserved to lose? They battled back and had the game won - and the refs took it away. Your take is just bunk. Edited October 25, 2015 by Coach Tuesday
Spiderweb Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 For 57 minutes the players played the game, good and bad. The the reds decide they too want in on the action and make a brtual phantom PI call, only to make up for it by not calling an obvious hold. Our Bills were victimized on both and they determined the game..... The league should be ashamed of their theft.
MDH Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 If the ref doesn't throw a bogus flag, the Bills win the game. I think you're underestimating the Bills chance of getting a penalty on 4th down which would give the Jags an automatic first down.

Coach Tuesday Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 I think you're underestimating the Bills chance of getting a penalty on 4th down which would give the Jags an automatic first down. Fair enough - that flag deprived Jerry Hughes and Duke Williams of opportunities to blow the game by taunting.
Franco_92 Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 They may have won, but remember that it was 3rd down, not 4th down. They had another shot after that if it wasn't called. The crime is that they never got that shot.
