thebandit27 Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Vote passes 30-2. I wonder who voted "no." The Brown family most likely is one
SF Bills Fan Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Actually probably not. If history repeats itself, once the team actually leaves, the city then will turn around and give some new team exactly what their old team that just left had wanted all along. See Baltimore, Cleveland, Houston, and even St Louis. Â The NFL will never go back to St. Louis after losing both Cardinals and Rams. Rams never should have left LA anyway.
buffalobillsfootball Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Heartbreaking news for St Louis Rams fans... my heart goes out to them. Â I have followed this issue for years. We all knew sooner or later the NFL would send a team back to LA. Â Just surreal that its finally happening. History in the making. Â I am thankful for the Pegula's and their commitment to WNY. I sincerely hope the political leadership from Albany to Erie County are working together now to partner with the Pegula's in their plan for a refurbished or new stadium. Â GO BUFFALO BILLS
Bills Fan in MD Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Anyone know where they'll play until the stadium is ready?
YoloinOhio Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Anyone know where they'll play until the stadium is ready?usc coliseum
Perk71 Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Rams and Chargers to Inglewood - book it. Â I like this - I go to CA a few times a year and I think it'd be great to see a LA Chargers v Buffalo Bills game in a brand new, CA stadium! I live in SoCal so I'll be there for sure. I feel for St. Louis, but happy that I can go to see the Bills here at home.
sodbuster Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Anyone know where they'll play until the stadium is ready?LA Colosseum. USC approved its use by two NFL teams, if needed.
YoloinOhio Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 (edited) Goodell: "I think this is going to be one of the great complexes in the world." Â Probably empty too. Whatever Roger. Edited January 13, 2016 by YoloinOhio
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 The NFL will never go back to St. Louis after losing both Cardinals and Rams. Rams never should have left LA anyway. Don't forget a team has now left LA 3x in the past. I'm not convinced that 2 teams in LA will be a smashing success long term.
YoloinOhio Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 LA Colosseum. USC approved its use by two NFL teams, if needed.Bob Woods going to go ham - probably never thought he'd get to play there again. Bills travel to Rams in '16.
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Probably right, but my point was more that these cities want to play hard ball and tell the owner, "No we're not giving you a sweetheart deal" but the then once the team leaves they backtrack and give the next guy the same sweetheart deal. Not saying the cities should cave, but if you ended up caving anyway, why not same everyone time and money \and do what you're goign to eventually do anyway. Â Â The NFL will never go back to St. Louis after losing both Cardinals and Rams. Rams never should have left LA anyway.
sodbuster Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 The Bills voted in favor of relocation. Â I feel so dirty.
YoloinOhio Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 @tydunne For those asking, #Bills owners Terry and Kim Pegula voted for the Rams' Los Angeles proposal.
papazoid Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 maybe san diego stays in S.D. and ultimately the raiders go back
TallskiWallski83 Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 @tydunne For those asking, #Bills owners Terry and Kim Pegula voted for the Rams' Los Angeles proposal. Im dissapointed in this.
YoloinOhio Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 maybe san diego stays in S.D. and ultimately the raiders go backi can't see Spanos giving up the option to go there and then having two competing franchises that close in LA
26CornerBlitz Posted January 13, 2016 Author Posted January 13, 2016 @RapSheet This is new. #Rams owner Stan Kroenke says he's offered the #Chargers either a partnership or relationship as a tenant.
Arkady Renko Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Im dissapointed in this. A little concerning...
26CornerBlitz Posted January 13, 2016 Author Posted January 13, 2016 @AroundTheNFL What can L.A. fans expect from the Rams (and possibly the Chargers)? @ChrisWesseling breaks it down http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000621692/article/what-can-la-expect-from-rams-chargers
