Augie Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Latest reports indicate Cleveland fans have applied for the Browns to move to L.A. That's so funny I had to send it to my Browns fan buddy. Apparently I'm not a very nice person.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 12, 2016 Author Posted January 12, 2016 Chargers owner: 'I've said everything I have to say' to San Diegans Dean Spanos is attempting to move his team to Los Angeles at this week's owners meetings.

DC Greg Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 So what happens to Raiders if Chargers and Rams move to LA? Are they allowed to keep playing in their "inadequate" stadium until such time as another city can make a play for them?
TheFunPolice Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Raiders could go to St. Louis I know, totally dumb. But Kronke is leaving no matter what.

IronyAbounds Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 The NFL's greed and indifference to fans other than the super rich is just disgusting. Wait and see what happens if Buffalo and the State of New York aren't willing to cough up big bucks for a new stadium. It will be the London Bills, the Mexico City Bills, the Las Vegas Bills or the San Antonio Bills once the onerous prohibitions against moving expire in the current lease.
QuoteTheRaven83 Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 How many times has this city failed in keeping an NFL team there? LA is not an NFL city and should never be. I feel sorry for loyal San Diego fans who actually care about their team.

Cant see it given the Pegulas' ownership of both sports teams and their heavy investment in downtown Buffalo as shown by Harbor Center, the Marriott, and 716 Sports Bar.
Heitz Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Such as? I know that San Antonio is looking for a team and had talked with Da Raiders (from Aug 15): http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/25272633/raiders-to-san-antonio-city-willing-to-host-team-on-temporary-basis

26CornerBlitz Posted January 12, 2016 Author Posted January 12, 2016 @VICESports Chargers fans bid a tearful goodbye to their team who is probably officially moving to LA. http://bit.ly/1mf6SZv @LATimesfarmer First round of votes completed. Rams/TBD in Inglewood gets more votes than Raiders/Chargers in Carson. Nobody at required 24 yet.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 12, 2016 Author Posted January 12, 2016 @LATimesfarmer First round of votes was 20-12 in favor of Rans/TBD in Inglewood – short of the required 24. LA committee now meeting with Spanos and Davis. @RapSheet The @NFL's Los Angeles committee is now set to meet with the #Rams, #Chargers, #Raiders individually. Time to make a deal.
