26CornerBlitz Posted December 29, 2015 Author Posted December 29, 2015 Ralph Wilson Jr always voted no in a relocation vote. Will Pegula follow his lead? It wouldn't surprise me. If he does, it'll a mere symbolic gesture since there will be at least 24 yes votes.
Buffalo_Stampede Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 It wouldn't surprise me. If he does, it'll a mere symbolic gesture since there will be at least 24 yes votes. I'm guessing he votes no also, knowing many of Ralph's people still around.
TheFunPolice Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 There should be ONE team in LA. If the others want to move now is the chance to explore some of those other markets the NFL wants to tap into. But no... let's have TWO LA teams! lol
BUFFALOKIE Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Oklahoma Chargers!!!! San Antonio Raiders! Los Angeles Rams!
26CornerBlitz Posted December 29, 2015 Author Posted December 29, 2015 Oklahoma Chargers!!!! San Antonio Raiders! Los Angeles Rams! Mexico City Raiders sounds lovely.
BUFFALOKIE Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Mexico City Raiders sounds lovely. Nope. No outsourcing!!!
TheFunPolice Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 I just find it amazing that with all this talk of London, Toronto, etc. when THREE teams want to move they all want to go to the same freaking place! LA lost two team already. Why not try ONE team and let it draw from that market? Better chance of success that way IMO. The other two can stay where they are or move to a different place that doesn't currently have a handful of NFL teams in the same state. Seriously, how many teams does California need?
4merper4mer Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 It really is shame. Congrats Kraft, Jones and Snyder you duplicitous thieves.
dpberr Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 If you were going to legitimately try to rank or score who gets to Los Angeles, how would you do it? How do you pick two of the three teams? All those teams have at one time been in Los Angeles. Of course, I expect a completely subjective, illegitimate process to pick those teams because the owners can do whatever they want to do.
Manther Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 (edited) Hopefully they stay the Chargers because their jerseys are sweet! Edited December 29, 2015 by Manther

26CornerBlitz Posted January 3, 2016 Author Posted January 3, 2016 @RapSheet Relocation proposals for Los Angeles are due tomorrow and all 3 teams — #Rams, #Chargers & #Raiders — will file them. No surprise there. What will it cost? I'm told the relocation fee for Los Angeles is $550M per team. Hefty. Owners expected to help out whoever gets left out
machine gun kelly Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 $550 mil is an increase over when this was on the table for the Bills to Toronto. I want to say it was $400 then if memory serves. I wonder who is odd man out in the musical chairs game as they won't take 3 teams. My guess is it's the Raiders. Mark Davis was not smart to broker a deal to split Levi Stadium with the 49ers. They could have split the costs, kept their fan base, and had a state of the art stadium. Two of the companies I've worked for in the last five years have home offices in Santa Clara as it is Silicon Valley and the home of a lot if novel Medical Device Companies. I had to go to management meetings there 6 or 7 times a year so my point is i drive past that stadium and ahd a tour once. It is fantastic. The Giants/Jets make it work, so I don't know why these two teams wouldn't want to do the same. The Chargers has a large fan base that drives down from LA so that makes it easy for the transition, and the Rams have a long history there. Given Kronkie's money and infrastructure he has already put together it is a given the Rams will be in LA. It won't exactly be a stretch to get NFL players to live near Hollywood and all of the celebrities.

26CornerBlitz Posted January 5, 2016 Author Posted January 5, 2016 @greggrosenthal Relocation proposals were fully expected. And yet this is still jarring to read http://www.stlouisrams.com/news-and-events/article-1/Rams-File-for-Relocation/436f56d8-b5c0-4e0a-a3b2-a8bf22408c30
Helpmenow Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 Does it get that hot in SD? I thought hteir claim to fame was it is never too hot/never too cold, perfect temperature. I know once in awhile like a few years back the whole west coast had that unbelievable heat wave I remember watching an early season game with Oregon & Mich St in Eugene & it was 100 degrees. But I don't think that is the norm. Hot when the Sana Ana winds blow thru
26CornerBlitz Posted January 5, 2016 Author Posted January 5, 2016 Report: Rams owner will build LA stadium with or without NFL approval Apparently, Rams owner Stan Kroenke plans to build a stadium in Los Angeles no matter what happens at the NFL's owners meeting in Houston.
Fan in San Diego Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 The city of San Diego filed a stadium package to keep the chargers. Dean Spanos was on the news tonite, when asked about what if the Chargers were the odd man out, he mentioned the other LA stadium proposals. Not one word about staying in San Diego with a new stadium. The NFL should force them to stay in SD. There is a stadium deal on the table to rebuild a new stadium where Qual Comm stadium is now.
