Ed_Formerly_of_Roch
From what I've read if the Raiders don't get to go to LA, Davis will be given some type of large cash settlement. That will indirectly pay the relocation fee's. Or he'll just sue like the ol man did. There is nothing in that scant article that explains why the Raiders move to SD is "viable". How does Davis even afford the relocation fee? Well if Lanfora reported it, we know that's NOT going to happen. Chargers announce they will stay in San Diego for 2016 season Chargers, Rams agree on parameters of deal to share LA stadium Davis's talk of going to San Diego may force the Chargers to stay put as having a team that close would hurt them. So we're going from one team in Southern Cal to three teams, two of which are In a city that has failed twice to support a team (3 if you include the old AFL days) Mark Davis forced everyone's hands. The Raiders will be going to LA next offseason. The man got what he wanted. All it took was talking to Las Vegas to scare the living crap out of the NFL. Mr. WEO
Jerry Jones: the worst thing to happen to the NFL...maybe ever. Why because he called out Bidwell's BS and made a fool of him at that meaning? Because he prevented, indirectly, the city of St. Louis and state of Missouri from making yet another colossal fiscal blunder by shelling out more money for an NFL stadium? Because he gave Spanos an opportunity to share a stadium in LA (which was Spanos's intent in Carson anyway)? By helping bring the NFL (and the Rams) back to LA---which was always inevitable? If Spanos is flush with cash to build, let him stop his begging and spend it in SD.

Not enough for a stadium, but will help them with Oakland. i thought it might be more. As far as San Diego, the city sounded like at the 11th hour are coming back to see if they can work out a mutual deal this summer. Spanos probably make a lot more money in his own stadium in San Diego than the deal offered in LA to share a stadium.

If he had his druthers, I'm sure there'd be no salary cap.
