BackInDaDay Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 we used to call this look the 'polecat', and it looks like some coaches have designed multiple options into it. this coach is calling the old Swinging Gate the Tiger Screen.. http://dscreationsgregorydouble.homestead.com/Tiger_Polecat_Formation.ppt it's intent is to get yards, not to lure the D into a "too many men" penalty as the Colts drew it up - that's the worst part of their plan.. that and the fact that their 5 interior linemen weren't on the LOS.
