Billsfan1972
The Defense was terrible. Read Winners & Losers on Grantland and see that the Bills were 24th against the rush and 29th in Defensive Pressure. At home an not a single sack or hit on Dalton Please no comments that Cincy is good. Deplorable D yesterday. Cincy converted third downs easily and were 4 for 4 in the redzone Watkins comes out with his comments and still EJ and Roman called all of one play the first quarter and a half. Heck EJ looked his way only one other time. Every play was the same with no mothion and Watkins lined up outside. The 89 yard drive 4-4 and the only time an interesting formation and a TD pass to Watkins. How after Watkins comments, you come into the game ands again didn't use him for the first 20 minutes defies logic. I posted the exact same thing last year. The Bills offensive scheme is so vanilla and pedestrian that it has no chance to succeed.

Leroi
EJ stares down his receiver and never looks to his left. Watkins was wide open on several occasions and EJ never looked his way. He panics...like a deer in the headlights panic. New nickname: Bambi Imo Edited October 19, 2015 by Leroi

Put Sammy on the right side when EJ is in. Heck put him on the right when TT is in.
Leroi
I have a solution. Put Sammy on the right side when EJ is in. Heck put him on the right when TT is in. Unfortunately Bambi does not process fast enough and would check down to Clay. Just like that 3rd and 8 and he checks down for 3 yards during a critical moment in the game. What was that? Bambi has to get his head out of his a#*. Pray TRod is back. Imo

Well hey, the OP's been a Bills fan (or been alive) since 1972. You've got to let him express his feelings about his favorite team - you know, the team that pisses many of us off almost every Sunday. Let's "build a bully" and then wonder why you get an excessive number of penalty flags thrown your way! Duh, Rex.

Imo TT checked down to Clay consistently too. The O line needs to help these guys feel secure to some degree. and btw the O line was a bit better last Sunday. they are coming around. What an original thread. 84 posts. 2 of them the same in the last year. Prolific you are. we all can express our opinion. You are proof. But to personally criticise a fellow fan is more than needed to make your point. I will never understand why folks go after one another here. Why i never give our Dogs just one fresh bone to share? because they will forget all their manners and tear into each other. They are just animals i suppose. He knows where and how far the ball needs to go. He doesn't just surrender the drive. EJ surrenders. Yes, the oline looked better Sunday. Clay and Lesean. that all they look for. dudes both play skittish. so what's the common factor ? Go back and look at TT first half against Titans. nothing. he did nothing. something else is wrong. This, after throwing for 111 yards in the fourth quarter when the game was over.

3rdand12
Im not arguing that point TT has had some glaringly bad moments I am not arguing either, for sure. The Bills offense has not gotten dialed in yet. I have hope for Taylor still. I mean we kinda gotta. Think the Bills made the right choices in regard to Cassel? i will be watching the Cowboys game possibly just to see. Certainly reviewing if he starts over Weeden At this point, even though struggling, i feel Bills did the right thing. But sure as hell i have been wrong before

One thing thay we all probably agree on, or for the most part, is that Rex has already lost this team with his load mouth no results bs.

K-9
Sammy never should have suited up yesterday. It was obvious from the way he was carrying himself even before kickoff that his calf was not 100%. While EJ was not the solution yesterday, he was not the problem, either. GO BILLS!!! Nihilarian
again so does TT. its a Bills thing. Clay and Lesean. that all they look for. dudes both play skittish. so what's the common factor ? Go back and look at TT first half against Titans. nothing. he did nothing. something else is wrong. I agree. Yea, Tyrod Taylor has been just magical in the first half against NE 38 yards passing, against the NY Giants in the first half 36 yards passing, against the Titans 28 first half yards passing. It wasn't EJ that allowed 34 points by the Bengals, and he didn't accrue all the penalties on the defense, special teams and offense. 8 penalties for 93 yards in all. EJ was doing OK until Watkins left the game just before the half with 129 yards passing, and the score 17-13. It could be possible that the Bengals were easily able to cover Clay, Woods, and Hogan with Goodwin, Harvin, and Watkins gone. Lets also not forget the crappy field position that the Bills had to endure all game long. Special teams have been on the short bus all year so far. After the first half the Bengals were able to put together 90 yard, and 78 yard drives that put a stake in the Bills defense.
