Teams are taking concussion protocol much more seriously then they have in past seasons. Luke Kuechly was concussed in week one and wasn't OKed to return until this week.

You can read about it here, http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl-news/4658107-luke-kuechly-concussion-protocol-details-cleared-panthers-seahawks

I was keeping an eye on that too.

Glad thats what the NFL is doing. But i dont have good feeling about Karlos. My opinion is purely , just opinion.

I think it was a higher grade concussion then the term getting your bell rung...hope we can go this week but if not shady and Boom should be fine against Poz and the Jags.

what do they do? Run cat scans and stuff to see the swelling ?

I have no idea about the "protocol" these days.

The NFL’s concussion protocol consists of a three-step process that a player must go through before being cleared to return. There is no specific timetable listed, as “each player and each concussion is unique,” the protocol states. A look at the three steps:

In that baseline exam they ask the player questions and watch his response

"These baseline tests and post-injury tests are computerized assessments that measure Reaction Time, Memory Capacity, Speed of Mental Processing, and Executive Functioning of the brain. They also record baseline concussion symptoms and provide extensive information about the athlete's history with concussions."

I can't say that these names would throw any D-Coordinators into a panic. We better be able to run and I see the TE's getting alot of throws

they don't really need to throw anyone into a panic, they just need to step up and contribute to a win. The coaches need to coach them up, and the players need to execute.

yup. luckily we have clay, and then a game breaker like shady. itll likely be a day where we have to have 8-10 play drives and not as much big chunk yardage, but we may still see some chunks.
