After further reflection I have determined that I may have made the following mistakes:

1) I was a bit too harsh regarding EJ. Referring to him as "Tyrod's backup" was uncalled for.

2) I probably did over-think and over-react.

I think being injured and out of work for a few weeks has given me too much free time. Luckily I'm back to work next week!

Thank you Bandit et al. for your assistance in this matter.

I think we're all a bit surly about the current situation.

Glad to hear you're on the mend

With all of these injuries, it makes me nervous on Sunday morning. I think I'm overthinking it, but my gosh we have almost no one one offense. Clay and a beat McCoy have to play lights out.

I think you're under-rating someone else.

I don't know who that someone else is since most of the offensive starters are hurt but you're under-rating them.

With EJ starting, I believe we will lose this one. And therefore, the season is lost. Another season with missed opportunities and no playoffs. Very frustrating.

The Jags are terrible. The Bills will win this game.

We'll see. Based on what I saw from EJ and the defense last week we would have a hard time beating anybody.

Umm okay. The Jags are just not the Bengals. But, worry on.

You have Mike schopp mentality right now. Yes ej has lost to teams he shouldn't have but also won against teams he shouldn't have. To count the game as already being a loss is pretty schoppsighted. Edited by The Wiz

Is it me, or do we seem to be devasted by injuries every single year? The rest of the league must feel this way too, right? Whether it's the Packers with a key player like Jordy Nelson,or a lost star QB (Brady a few years ago), or just sheer numbers of injuries across the roster, or massive strikes at a single position or two.... I want a year where we sit around and marvel at how healthy we are. (But in hushed tones so as not to jinx anything.)

expect to be surprised.

I don know why, but something is about to happen. Watch Greg Romans presser. his loose ness is unusual.

May i today suggest that

EJ has been the Plan all along.

I said it and hold me accountable.

since i am already considered a bit of a loon, this should be no surprise to most, my opinion.

But before the season began i thought They are going to wait, and get EJM in.

Now what he will do with this opportunity is yet to be seen.

But this is showtime for him.

Roman is going to let him play football with the full playbook.

@SalSports

Bills GM Doug Whaley will speak to the Buffalo media in just a few minutes.

Whaley: We will address Percy issue when we have more answers.

Whaley said they found out early last week Percy would be away for personal reasons. Haven't had contact this week.

Whaley: No regrets on the Cassel trade.

John Miller not at practice. Not injury related. (I've been told there could be a passport issue. Miller has been here this week).

Whaley: I'd rather hear Sammy say what he did than duck it and not want the ball.

Whaley says he is hearing Karlos Williams is closer to returning. All of the concussion-related issues/injuries go strictly thru medical

Following up on John Miller: I'm told nothing negative re: passport but may have needed it over last 24hrs. Rex to address it after practice

@MarcSesslerNFL

Whaley: We believe Tyrod Taylor will return to play after the bye. Also talked about Manuel's high ceiling and likes Bills QB depth.

@ChrisBrownBills

Whaley says possibility that Jordan Gay could be added back to roster this week. #Bills

@AdamBenigni

#Bills GM Doug Whaley defends decision to trade Cassel. "EJ has longer shelf life." @wgrz

@JoeBuscaglia

Just saw kickoff specialist Jordan Gay walking into the #Bills hotel here at The Grove. I'd expect a roster move to be coming.

Indeed I will until this team shows some consistency there is no telling what we will get from week to week.

You want to see devastated, look at the Redskins roster this week. They are basically down to 3rd stringers (close enough).

Good teams find a way to win w/o stars like Jordy Nelson or Gronk etc.

update - Skins & Chargers list 15 players injured in some way. Houston lists 18.
