LeGOATski Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 (edited) This is another example of some people who dislike certain players and will say literally anything to support their narrative. I don't have any agenda against Henderson, actually. He hasn't looked good in pass pro, though and I assumed it was him today. Edited October 18, 2015 by LeGOATski
NickelCity Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 EJ played like a backup QB. I was rooting for him to light it up. Granted, the D sucked, ST sucked, etc. But that's happened before this year. Even in a losing effort I was hoping he'd play a bit stronger. We need a coverage LB, probably a safety taken high, a starting RT, a swing tackle, and a solid center prospect developing.
BuffaloHokie13 Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 EJ did a fine backup QB job But where the issue arises is when people who just want to be right about EJ practically begging for him to start Yeah, it was a bit worse than I expected, but certainly not terrible. The problem is the people who think our offense is better with EJ, or the people claiming today might have been the best day for a Bills QB this season.
Best Player Available Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Title should be RIP Rex Ryan. Too many penalties and outcoached yet again. Send the clown back to the Jets. Anyone who thinks this team will make the post season is dreaming bigtime. REX is not a HC. it appears he is also not a motivator either. But he can knock a interview out of the park.
Peter Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 I don't have any agenda against Henderson, actually. Thanks. I hope not. Some do. Some have agendas against certain players and Rex. Seantrel is one of those guys where some criticism is misplaced or overblown.
QCity Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 It's time for the EJ Dreamers to face reality. And maybe understand that playing against 3rd stringers in the pre-season doesn't mean squat.
OldTimer1960 Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 And TT has played with same handicaps. Yet TT has looked lift years better. Yep, Taylor's 107 yards passing and 14 points of output last week against a poor Tennessee team should definitely get him into the Hall Of Fame
Augie Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Title should be RIP Rex Ryan. Too many penalties and outcoached yet again. Send the clown back to the Jets. Anyone who thinks this team will make the post season is dreaming bigtime. Amen.
NickelCity Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Yep, Taylor's 107 yards passing and 14 points of output last week against a poor Tennessee team should definitely get him into the Hall Of Fame I feel like there is a massive, colossal amount of middle ground between what VABills was saying and the Hall of Fame.
LeGOATski Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 funny how the good coaches have good qb's. EJ isn't good enough to be a #2, he can forget being starter. it's over, stick a fork in em. should have kept cassel Meh....that's too far.
Peter Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Those of you using THIS game to further your EJ narrative really are just demonstrating your preconceived bias against him.
xsoldier54 Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Exactly, people will blame the QB for everything. EJ was not great, but the defense got outcoached and outplayed. The Special Teams are a colossal failure. The loss definitely was not EJ's fault. However, having said that, he had an opportunity to shine and he failed. He just doesn't seem to have what it takes to consistently make plays.
Formerly Allan in MD Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 You stink as a fan of this team. Three years of watching EJ Manuel and you can't spot the improvement, says more about you then it does about EJ. What improvement other than he calls the signals louder, sets up better in the pocket, and looks more confident? But he still can't throw an accurate pass most of the time and has little sense of the game.
Leroi Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 The EJ "lull" was in full effect today. Wow. That was some boring offense. He panics... Imo
PearlHowardman Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 I never thought that EJ Manuel was going to take the "next step" because I have known for some time that there is no "next step" for EJ Manuel. Additionally, TT isn't much of an NFL QB, either. I'm from Syracuse, so...never mind.
Augie Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 This was NOT on EJ. He did an OK backup job at least. Rex, on the other hand..... is a thief at best.
GoBills! Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 (edited) When was the last time we put up 21 points ? EJ didn't play lights out but he did put up 21 points.... We havent scored that much since the garbage time points week 2... and never before that this year....you have blind eyes if this game is on EJ ...He was a great backup maybe not ready to be a starter or ever but this is on the D that is paid over 200 million with no pressure or sacks... Wasn't a fan of the Rex effect he is a circus mixed with old school used car dealer....give me JIm schwartz D and a decent offensive coach and I am happy... Edited October 18, 2015 by GoBills!
klos63 Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 three point game at half - int. poor field position D did its job! so EJ led the team to 2 first half TD's and the Bengals open the 2nd half with a 90 yard drive, followed by an 80 yard drive- not great field position to start those drives for Bengals. EJ's fault?
NickelCity Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 This was NOT on EJ. He did an OK backup job at least. Rex, on the other hand..... is a thief at best. I'd agree with that. I just don't think he's the future at QB.
