Deranged Rhino Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 How was that ruled a catch?! Holy crap. Terrible call.
stevestojan Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 How did both of them miss that so terribly?
HuSeYiN_NYC Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Beautiful Rex defense. I don't remember EVER when rex defenses put top pass rushers in to zone coverage.
Saudi Arabia Rob Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 No pressure, WR comes back when QB in trouble. Dalton slowly getting into a rhythm
Playoffs? Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Rex doing another great job dialing up the pressure today!
PastaJoe Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Rex slowing the game down so TT can get dressed?
Freddie's Dead Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Jesus Christ refs. Now both of our challenges are gone and we have one left the rest of the game. THAT WASN'T EVEN $%^ING CLOSE TO BEING A CATCH!!!
Big C Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015  No.  Coverage sacks happen when everyone is covered and the QB takes a sack after 5 seconds.  It is purely on the QB when he hangs onto the ball for 10 seconds. He has gotta act like he has a brain and get outside the pocket to throw it away  Not saying EJ was faultless there, just agreeing that no one was open. EJ looked around. Had room to run and could at least throw it away properly.
HurlyBurly51 Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Sorry Rex, but your Great D just ain't getting it done
PromoTheRobot Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Obviously our of bounds, which means the play will stand.
Deranged Rhino Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 How did both of them miss that so terribly? I'm never a huge "the refs are bad" guy, but that's just downright offensive to miss that.
DC Greg Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Yeah, he blew the read when he turned his back to the LOS and walked himself into pressure But do you think we can give the guy more than 1 quarter this year befopre we start telling the people rooting for him to STFU? Â Yep... I'm giving a hot take for sure... but I'm still rooting for him. I can both root for him and recognize that he shouldn't be our starter. They are not mutually exclusive.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 D is average at best let's call a spade a spade
TakeYouToTasker Posted October 18, 2015 Author Posted October 18, 2015 Goodwin wide open. EJ never looked off his first route. Wow... Â Â At least everyone who thinks EJ should be our starting QB can STFU after this. It's just not there folks, the reads, the arm, none of it. Goodwin was open for perhaps a second after the pocket had broken down, and EJ was already into the scramble drill, and he was isolated away from the saturated play side of the field. EJ hasn't been perfect today, but that's not a play I'm going to hold against him. Â And he's still the best quarterback on this team. You'll note that we've atleast generated some points, some first downs, and have managed to cross the 50 yard line in the first half.
The_Dude Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Our defense can compete but our offense just can't overcome the guys under center be it EJ or TT.
BRH Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Seriously, how do they rule that a catch? Just give it to 'im? What a lazy effort by the zebras.
Bubba Gump Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 How did both of them miss that so terribly? Cincy is the new NE. The NFL loves them.
