PlayoffsPlease Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Harvin out is an example of quality depth at a position. Better to have Watkins and Harvin heal than playing injured. We have plenty of good WR's going today. McCoy playing is an example of player playing through an injury because of depth issues.
billsfan_34 Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Goodwin can assume some his role with Sammy back in. For sure!
jumbalaya Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 It would be nice for Sammy to get 10 starts this year.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 @JasonLaCanfora Bills are concerned that Percy Harvin could miss significant time with his latest injury. Very unlikely he travels to London.

MDH Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 @JasonLaCanfora Bills are concerned that Percy Harvin could miss significant time with his latest injury. Very unlikely he travels to London. If it's unlikely he travels to London I wonder why he was listed as questionable instead of doubtful.
YoloinOhio Posted October 18, 2015 Author Posted October 18, 2015 He will probably be back after the bye
26CornerBlitz Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 He'll be gone next year. That will be $7M saved on the cap. I was expecting more from him when Sammy was out. Maybe this hip injury is serious because he has not looked very explosive from scrimmage or on kick returns in recent weeks.
John from Riverside Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 I was expecting more from him when Sammy was out. Maybe this hip injury is serious because he has not looked very explosive from scrimmage or on kick returns in recent weeks. As was I....maybe Glenn SHOULD get that money
NoSaint Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Hopefully Gragg is active. EJ seemed to have a connection with him in preseason and he's as fast as Harvin. I do not hope gragg is on the field much. I hope ej is throwing to Sammy, clay, McCoy and woods I was expecting more from him when Sammy was out. Maybe this hip injury is serious because he has not looked very explosive from scrimmage or on kick returns in recent weeks. It was odd to not see any screens or manufactured touches last week with Sammy/McCoy out after so much week 1
nucci Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 If it's unlikely he travels to London I wonder why he was listed as questionable instead of doubtful. LaCanfora usually just guesses
starrymessenger Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 I was expecting more from him when Sammy was out. Maybe this hip injury is serious because he has not looked very explosive from scrimmage or on kick returns in recent weeks. Percy is fast but the thing that set him apart was his ability to change direction without breaking stride and with terrific explosion. I don't think I've seen that this year or indeed last year when watching the Jets. I get this feeling he's just not the player he was in Minni or even in Seattle. If that's gone forever as a result of injury or for whatever reason then I wouldn't particularly value him as a WR or ST player going forward. Hope I've got that wrong, especially for his sake.
YoloinOhio Posted October 21, 2015 Author Posted October 21, 2015 He isn't out this week for the hip injury. Rex said he didn't travel/was excused for "personal reasons."
Coach Tuesday Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 He isn't out this week for the hip injury. Rex said he didn't travel/was excused for "personal reasons." Sounds like we were (so far) 1/2 on the Harvin/Incognito gambles. That's not too bad actually.

K D Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 scared of flying? a 4 hour trip to the west coast is one thing. you can take a pill and fall asleep. a 12 hour flight is a whole other ordeal. i feel claustrophobic on planes myself. or maybe there is a warrant out for his arrest in Europe? you never know
Wayne Cubed Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 i hope he's ok and don't want to assume anything but with his "reputation" ... It's not a great sign Personal could be for loads of reasons. Maybe he can't get a passport... or wouldn't be allowed into the UK. Who knows.
