YoloinOhio Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 @gregauman: Former Bucs WR Mike Williams worked out for Giants today, per @FieldYates. If signed, would play in Tampa in Week 9 ... Hadn't heard a word about him since last season
Canadian Bills Fan Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Another possible good thing that Marrone screwed up CBF
LB3 Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Another possible good thing that Marrone screwed up CBF Marrone deserves criticism for many things, but Marrone didn't make him wear out his welcome in TB or make his brother stab him in the leg.

No but he didnt give him his fair shake here in Buffalo He looked promising caught a TD in one of his first games then Marrone just took him out of the plays CBF
l< j Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 I saw the title and flashed back to the other Mike Williams. You can never have enough Williams.
YoloinOhio Posted October 15, 2015 Author Posted October 15, 2015 (edited) I saw the title and flashed back to the other Mike Williams. You can never have enough Williams. holy cripe. I wonder what he's doing these days. Edited October 15, 2015 by YoloinOhio
PO16FFS Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Marrone didnt screw anything up. Mike Willams screwed himself. If hes so good, why did no one sign since week 1?
BuffaloHokie13 Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Marrone didnt screw anything up. Mike Willams screwed himself. If hes so good, why did no one sign since week 1? Wasn't he suspended for the first 4 weeks?
LB3 Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 No but he didnt give him his fair shake here in Buffalo He looked promising caught a TD in one of his first games then Marrone just took him out of the plays CBF I don't think we know how fair of a shake he got though. If he wasn't putting in the work off the field, he shouldn't be rewarded with time on it. Maybe the other four guys just looked better in every practice. Many things could have factored in. Williams certainly didn't have much burst last year.
YoloinOhio Posted October 15, 2015 Author Posted October 15, 2015 Wasn't he suspended for the first 4 weeks?i think you are right
BuffaloHokie13 Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 i think you are right Apparently it was 6 weeks, actually http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/180648-brandon-spikes-and-mike-williams-suspended-by-nfl/?p=3671790
NoSaint Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Marrone didnt screw anything up. Mike Willams screwed himself. If hes so good, why did no one sign since week 1? can we maybe say a little of column A and a little of column b could be the answer?
truth on hold Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 (edited) Idk why they don't sign welker. Claim he had a very good workout with them. And they desperately need a slot WR w/ Cruz out Edited October 15, 2015 by JTSP
JohnC Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Another possible good thing that Marrone screwed up CBF While you are assigning blame why don't you blame Marrone for climate change issues. Mike Williams has stumbled because he has tripped over his own dumb feet. In any field of endeavor an undisciplined goofball with marginal talent is not destined to be a success. His chances for success are similar to Da'rick' Rodger's chances for success. Save your money and don't bother betting on it.
Solomon Grundy Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Wasn't he suspended for the first 4 weeks? Yes he was. And contrary to some beliefs, Marrone did Mike Williams a big injustice.
hondo in seattle Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 No but he didnt give him his fair shake here in Buffalo He looked promising caught a TD in one of his first games then Marrone just took him out of the plays CBF While Marrone was not a good coach, there's got to be more to the story.

FireChan Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 No but he didnt give him his fair shake here in Buffalo He looked promising caught a TD in one of his first games then Marrone just took him out of the plays CBF TD's on broken plays are the opposite of promising.
NoSaint Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 TD's on broken plays are the opposite of promising. well, i wouldnt say the opposite, as i wouldnt call it some sort of negative sign.... but less exciting, sure.
