boyst Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 If we ird him and he got better he could ask release on injury settlement then retire. Dick move but possible. I wish teams would look at situations like these. Renegotiate his contract. Put it to expire this year then a separate contract keeping him on as a coach/figure/etc w the team going forward. Maybe one day in a year or two he rejoi s the team somehow and this would allow him to retire, of sorts.
NewEra Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 I hope for his sake, that he retires. I love his fire and was really developing into a leader. That being said, I love what Rambo brings to the table and would love to resign him Rambo and Graham are a solid pair of safties
atlbillsfan1975 Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 I wonder if Jairus Byrd wants to come back.NO would trade him for a bag of balls at this point.I hope for his sake, that he retires. I love his fire and was really developing into a leader. That being said, I love what Rambo brings to the table and would love to resign him Rambo and Graham are a solid pair of saftiesI worry about Rambos cover ability. Solid hitter, but good QB's can take advantage of his overly aggressive play.

But health is more important than anything else. That is why it doesn't make sense for me to see Peyton Manning continue to throw the football. He has nothing to prove.
26CornerBlitz Posted December 14, 2015 Author Posted December 14, 2015 Aaron won’t play Sunday Head coach Rex Ryan gave pretty firm indication that Aaron Williams, though he returned to practice last week, would not be fit to play in Week 14 or this week against Washington. On Monday he re-affirmed that stance.
TheFunPolice Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 this is a tough story, but it sounds like he might be done IMO The neck is nothing to mess with. I think missing out top safety all year has had an enormous impact on this defense as well.
thebandit27 Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 He's a good kid and a pretty solid safety. Sometimes, guys have to move on to the next season of life before they're emotionally ready, and it sounds like that may be the case for Aaron. Thankfully, he got his big payday, and he can take care of his family. No shame in walking away if that's what needs to be done.
26CornerBlitz Posted December 19, 2015 Author Posted December 19, 2015 Aaron Williams still biding his time Bills safety Aaron Williams is still biding his time on short term injured reserve. Coming off his neck injury he’s been cleared to practice for the past two weeks, but he has yet to cleared for contact. Williams has spent most of his team reps on the scout team getting the starters ready for their upcoming opponent. As for a timetable for his full return, there just doesn’t seem to be one at this point.
Vinaccia Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 This just scares me. I don't want to see this guy permanently injured because we need a safety.
26CornerBlitz Posted December 21, 2015 Author Posted December 21, 2015 @SalSports Aaron Williams won't play in a game rest of season. Will practice.
bbb Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 They should rest everybody for Opening Day 2016 - under Coach Cowher

26CornerBlitz Posted December 22, 2015 Author Posted December 22, 2015 Aaron targeting return in OTAs It’s not looking like Aaron Williams will be added back to the active roster before the end of the regular season. Coming off a neck injury, Williams sounds like he’s committed to returning when OTAs begin in the spring.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 I hope he thinks long and hard about the risks of re-injuring his neck. If he has any doubts at all he needs to retire. CBF
bbb Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 Does anybody know exactly what is wrong with his neck??
dwight in philly Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 They should rest everybody for Opening Day 2016 - under Coach Cowher cowher, dungy, jon gruden, schottenheimer(marty), george seifert, parcells, interview em all, may as well ask jimmy johnson too.. and shanny..

Canadian Bills Fan Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 We all need to wait until the Bills get the 1st overall pick in the draft. That, along with the Bills having rich new owners will make us a more attractive option CBF
