JP-era Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 I thought for sure that I saw Tra THomas listed as UFA for 2005 but for the life of me I cant remember where I saw it. NFLPA.org has Thomas signed through 2005. Anybody have the final answer on this? Fake-Fat made a comment that he had wording in his contract that lets him leave? Is that true? Anyone got the final word? Anyone? Bueller?

BillsGuyInMalta Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 ESPN says he isnt though...I sadly trust ESPN over some fan site on the internet. But just barely. Free Agent OTs
VABills Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 He is signed through 2008. However, he has an opt-out and he is expected to take it.

You've got McNabb signed to a long-term deal. The offensive line is signed through at least 2004 -- Jermane Mayberry's deal is through 2004, Jon Runyan is signed through 2005, Hank Fraley is signed through 2006 and both John Welbourn and Tra Thomas are in town through 2008. The only way he would be a FA is if Philly doesn't give him a roster bonus or he has an opt-out clause. which is what I have heard reprted.
