Buffalos#1Fan
For the most part I don't know the calls/ routes( see disclaimer in beginning of post) .. None of us fans/analysts do.. All I can do is watch the All 22 and see who is open and who isn't and then make an educated guess as to what Tyrod should have done. At least it's a more detailed opinion than making statements about how a qb/ o line did just watching the broadcast live. However on occasion it's blatantly obvious that a player runs a wrong route. For example.. In the Harvin play he and another receiver end up in the same spot and Taylor throws to the blank out route space where Harvin was clearly supposed to go to Makes sense, well done nonetheless! Are you going to do this again with EJ next week? Ii'd be interested in seeing these stats side by side.
Bocephuz
I just hope the board keeps some composure when EJ's stats are up for discussion next week. I can hear it now, "He Sux because:", "he overthrew...", "he threw the ball at the receiver's feet", "he held on to the ball and was sacked", "he didn't see his second or third option who was wide open". Plays like that happen to every QB. Why I even saw Jim Kelly miss a few targets and get sacked some. Some. Go Bills. that's why I started this type of review .. When the board was crushing EJ last year without any sort of Objective analysis I really needed to dig deeper to see how much of the fault was on him and how much was on the o line. If EJ starts this week it will be really interesting to look at the All 22 next week. If we can get any sort of running game going I think he'll be ok
3rdand12
One of those things I guess (on the number). I'm just looking at the box score and adding, I didn't make an attempt to tabulate each play. Maybe more scrambles or sacks "no play" for penalty? About the O-line coach thing, if they can't trust the assistant OL who is filling in for Kromer to make a call when Henderson is that bad, IMO they made an error not firing Kromer and bringing in someone they felt they could trust. That's almost half the season. Like who though. Nfl coaching Is a small universe. Like i said , i hope they are coaching up CK and or Seantrel does the "tighten up" that's why I started this type of review .. When the board was crushing EJ last year without any sort of Objective analysis I really needed to dig deeper to see how much of the fault was on him and how much was on the o line. If EJ starts this week it will be really interesting to look at the All 22 next week. If we can get any sort of running game going I think he'll be ok I think if this would happen, the Bills regardless of QB would be okay. looking forward to next weeks review B. I think !! Hapless Bills Fan
I just hope the board keeps some composure when EJ's stats are up for discussion next week. The same agenda-driven types will be all over him, just as they are all over Taylor who "only had 4 good plays".
