BuffaloHokie13
It's not just a numbers thing, the offense has been dormant for long in-game stretches against NE, NYG, and TEN. it's also been without it's best players for 2 of those 3, and I believe our running backs have averaged ~2.5 YPC over the last 2 games
26CornerBlitz
@RapSheet Key for EJ Manuel: Exploiting the middle of the field & finding Sammy Watkins. Bills were OK with Watkins comments. They want him to thrive
BuffaloHokie13
@RapSheet On #Bills QBs: Sources say EJ Manuel has a chance to go a long way to winning the job today. If he plays well enough, it reopens the battle. Reopening a battle and unseating the starter are two different things. Either way, let's just hope he looks good today before we look too far down the road.

WhitewalkerInPhilly
It's not just a numbers thing, the offense has been dormant for long in-game stretches against NE, NYG, and TEN. Without Watkins to prevent teams from doubling Harvin and when you're down to your 4th string RB carrying the load, you're going to have down games. That said, yeah, if EJ plays lights out it certainly makes the case to rest Taylor another week vs Jax.

MDH
It's not just a numbers thing, the offense has been dormant for long in-game stretches against NE, NYG, and TEN. This offense has been the drive equivillant to CJ Spillers runs. Way too many drives which end in 3 and out followed by a TD drive or two which resulted from a big play. In the end the numbers look decent but its not what you really want in terms of consistency.
BuffaloBob
I think the key will be to get some early success offensively. I hope they come out aggressively on offense, rather than trying to be conservative.
26CornerBlitz
@JasonLaCanfora As reported back on like Monday, it was always remote at best that Tyrod Taylor could take the field Sun. Could be a 2-week injury
Boatdrinks
Well Harvin is likely to sit. I think that jives with what we've been hearing. Man, that is straight up jive if Percy doesn't play today. It kinda jibes with his history though.
26CornerBlitz
@AlbertBreer Bills QB EJ Manuel spoke with his college coach, Jimbo Fisher, last night. Told Fisher, Tyrod's style of play kept him ready/on high alert. One thing the Bills saw in practice this week from EJ Manuel -- Improvement on deep ball. One teammate: "Hopefully Sammy goes off (today)." @ChrisTrapasso On @RapSheet's tweet: in career on middle of field passes EJ Manuel: 73.3% / 8.1 YPA with 9 TD/8 INT. Other: 55.1% / 5.94 YPA with 7TD/4INT.

Either way, I'd rather have that to deal with than no good QBs.

NOVABillsFan
Lets hope that whomever plays @ QB does well today to lead the team to victory. Shady sat for some time to get healthy, so did Sammy. If Tyrod is injured and further risks hurting his knee some more then he should rest for a while. Reminders of RGIII wanting to play hurt most likely killed his current career.

The Wiz
Wow! That isn't really reporting so much as speciation. UNLESS he has Rex saying it? If it is a 'source', I call b.s. And to be honest, is an example nog negligent journalism that is so pervasive today. One things for sure, his source isn't Leroi.
