NoSaint Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 @KevinMassare: The Bills were rumored to want Johnson earlier in the year. Has Roman experience, and could be a great scout team addition to insurance. makes a lot of sense. ill mention again that the pass to taylor after he was hurt seemed really dumb.
YoloinOhio Posted October 13, 2015 Author Posted October 13, 2015 He'll definitely be good for the scout team this week as he's been with the Bengals for the past 3 years I think. good call, forgot he was there
26CornerBlitz Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 @TyDunne BN Blog: Bills sign Josh Johnson, cut Cundiff w/ Taylor hurting. Johnson hasn't thrown a reg-season pass in 3 years. http://bills.buffalonews.com/2015/10/13/bills-sign-qb-josh-johnson-release-kicker-billy-cundiff-with-taylor-hurting/
H2o Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 @KevinMassare: The Bills were rumored to want Johnson earlier in the year. Has Roman experience, and could be a great scout team addition to insurance. Wait.............. Did Rex/Whaley just pull a classic Belicheat move?
K D Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Taylor is "hurting" not "hurt." i think he is just banged up and they are being cautious. a few days of a rest and he will be fine. he took a lot of hits and he already had that ankle thing going on. he is a gamer, he will be ready to go vs Cinci. big game!
26CornerBlitz Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 @MikeGarafolo Rex mentioned how hurt Tyrod is. @JayGlazer reported recently Taylor's ankle worse than we know. Johnson signing = EJ time? Team mulling.
reddogblitz Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Wait.............. Did Rex/Whaley just pull a classic Belicheat move? Tom Landry used to do it in the 1960s (as did probably a lot of people before that and since then). Let's not give Bill Bellyache too much credit.
The Poojer Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 so did his pass reception...i said in another thread it almost looked like a groin or whatever the inner part of the thigh is. That horsecollar tackle did some damage.
GunnerBill Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 So the Cundiff experiment was short lived....
mountainwampus Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 When Johnson was competing with Gabbert for the 49ers back-up job, he seemed like the clear winner of the battle, but they went with Gabbert anyway. He's more of a run-first QB than a pocket passer. A lesser version of Tyrod.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 So the Cundiff experiment was short lived.... He sucked on kickoffs against the Titans. Carpenter can do just as well as that!
fridge Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 So the Cundiff experiment was short lived.... Carpenter to handle kickoffs?
buffaloboyinATL Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Uh oh, no more kickoff specialist. Time for Carpenter to step up.
The Big Cat Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 http://twitter.com/viccarucci/status/653968973625749508 @Viccarucci From team source: #Bills signed Josh Johnson bc they liked him better than PS QB Dustin Vaughan. Tyrod Taylor "still sore.
GunnerBill Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 (edited) He sucked on kickoffs against the Titans. Carpenter can do just as well as that! Yes he did. Cutting Gay for him was dumb, dumb, dumb. Edited October 13, 2015 by GunnerBill
buffaloboyinATL Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 We need our bye week badly to get some guys healthy
YoloinOhio Posted October 13, 2015 Author Posted October 13, 2015 Yes he did. Cutting Gay for him was dumb, dumb, dumb. they can always re-sign Gay
K D Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 So who does kickoffs? onside kick it and rely on the defense if we don't get it
