eball Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I hate the stupidity coming out now. WGR has all these old people calling in asking why Cassel was traded and Whaley has to go. Sorry, I would rather see EJ than Cassel. The Buffalo fans who love Cassel astound me. He is not that good. If we're going to fail I would rather go down with a QB that can throw the ball more than 10 yards. Come on, Vic Carucci deserves more respect than that.
TheFunPolice Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 this is prime talk radio fodder.... They could be doing a cucurbit draft....

Beerball Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I think you need to reread all the posts by the people in a panic that Tyrod might be hurt. for example "noooooooooooooooo" That post was much later than yours. There was one other panic post also after yours but I think that was sarcasm.

fridge Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 They did not include passing yards in the team total breakdowns...wonder why

Maddog69 Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 No he wasn't. If he was, he would've won the job. Based statistically on the preseason games, he most certainly was the best QB of the three. Many other factors went into the decision (most importantly Rex has a huge hard on for Tyrod).

fridge Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 It's weird how they focus on the positives. I have no idea why. I mean...they included first downs and total yards, both of which the Titans had the advantage.

(think positively....think positively....think positively....)
cage Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I gotta disagree with this. I think he plays very smartly. Just a fluke thing to get horse collared on a long run. Otherwise, I think he does a nice job of avoiding contact. I think he's at risk for those kinds of tackles in the future. The way he runs will just frustrate the hell out of defensive players. All they see at the end of plays like that is that they want to make him eat the turf. I think he'll continue to be prone to drawing rough tackles at the end of runs (and 15 yd penalties tacked on)
GG Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 @YardsPerPass Close up of the TT injury for @ProFootballDoc and @JasonLaCanfora Who was it that argued that it wasn't a true horse collar tackle?
LeGOATski Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I mean...they included first downs and total yards, both of which the Titans had the advantage. But...less rushing yards and worse red zone %....where are we going with this?
26CornerBlitz Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Who was it that argued that it wasn't a true horse collar tackle? They could use this play as the textbook example.
LeGOATski Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Who was it that argued that it wasn't a true horse collar tackle? The commentators. Including Tasker.
Deranged Rhino Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Who was it that argued that it wasn't a true horse collar tackle? A lot of people -- but they were wrong.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Who was it that argued that it wasn't a true horse collar tackle? Me. It isn't. He grabbed his jersey. You have to grab inside the collar for it to be a horse collar, IIRC.
Peter Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 The commentators. Including Tasker. Those guys were confused . . . .
