Tyrod Up for Clutch Performer of the Week

Tyrod Taylor’s late game heroics in the comeback win over Tennessee last Sunday has made him a nominee for the Castrol Edge Clutch Performer of the Week.

Taylor, who led a pair of late touchdown drives to pull out a 14-13 win over the Titans is up against Cleveland Josh McCown, Cincinnati’s Mike Nugent, the Giants Eli Manning and Atlanta CB Robert Alford for Week 5 honors.

Fans can vote for Tyrod here.

he took over the game because he had to. nobody doing anything on offense so he took it old school and won the way he used to win at VT. our RB's are terrible. thanks Whaley

It's going to be tough to take down McCown this week, but Tyrod came up BIG. Now, if we can just get him going in the first three quarters....

Robert Woods blocks like a boss. I knew he blew up the two guys on TT's TD, but that was the first time I saw him completely shield his guy on the top play.

Isn't that Wade?

Yeah. Bum Phillips.

Same difference.

No way Rex isnt going into next year with Tyrod Taylor not under center

My brain hurts from reading that.

Even with Fred this statement you say should be the same.

LMAO! Every RB can't suck. Nevermind, I keep forgetting we're fielding an All-Pro "Offensive" Line.
