thebandit27 Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Gilmore & Darby Schmidt Mario Taylor Hogan
truth on hold Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 (edited) The entire D-line...finally showed up for the full 60. On offense pretty much no one except maybe Hogan. The woods block everyone is yapping about was over stated....Taylor was past those guys on the outside already. Edited October 12, 2015 by JTSP
Augie Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 He isn't. He is ambidextrous. Not that there's anything wrong with that..... (That did surprise me too, though.)
hondo in seattle Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Robert Woods blocked two guys with one block to spring Tyrod for the game-changing TD. That was a beautiful thing! Maybe my favorite play of the game.
Augie Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Not surprising, but Tyrod showed some great hands on that Hogan throw.... Hit the mark and the TD comes there.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 13, 2015 Author Posted October 13, 2015 @JohnMurphyShow Your votes are in, the @BlueRockEnergy player of the week is Tyrod Taylor! Vote again next week.
jumbalaya Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 There are several good defensive candidates including Mario. I thought Mario had one good play on the sack. He was completely neutralized most of the game. He would just watch the action around him. He takes a lot of plays off. IMO
Kirby Jackson Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Gilmore & Darby Schmidt Mario Taylor Hogan Pretty much my thoughts, I give Hogan a hard time but he came up big the other day. He made 3 or 4 big plays.
BADOLBILZ Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 (edited) Gilmore was the best player on either side, except maybe the Titans DT who is very good and had a great game. Schmidt had a great game. TT won the game for us but he also missed a bunch of plays he needs to make, so he doesn't get the top mark. Darby is ridiculously good for a rookie. Mario and Dareus had solid games with a few highlight plays. Woods made a few great blocks but he needs to get his head in the game more. I really like him as a role player but he can be frustrating. I remember watching the Jurrel Casey segment on the NFL's Top 100 players this offseason and thinking to myself NEXT year there will be plays from the Bills game in his highlight reel. He was thrashing the Bills on Sunday. Dareus was an immovable object on the DL. The Titans ran two plays back-to-back right at him and he stopped their asses cold like they hit a brick wall. Then the hit on Mariota that preceded the game ending pic.....that was great because he got a big hit in without finishing him and drawing a flag. Great game for Marcel, IMO. Woods killed a drive on the one play in the first half where he fell down on his cut on a 3rd down out throw from TT. Announcer implied that McCourty had coverage but TT stuck it where only Woods would have gotten it. Poor choice of shoes or not, this stuff shouldn't happen to a top young WR in year 3......which is because he's not a top young WR. He is the one they should call Flash because that's all we see from him........a flash of ability now and then when he should be stepping up his game with Sammy out. Good to see Goodwin making some plays, btw. Edited October 14, 2015 by #BADOL
Coach Tuesday Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 On the Gilmore pick - the All-22 shows the safety coming over late to help Gilmore over the top, and his guy might be able to come open deep. Plus Gilmore was stumbling a bit on his chase. If Dareus doesn't blow up that play, it's possible Mariota throws to the deep option (not sure if it was DGB or Hunter) and hits a 70-yard game-winning TD pass. Dareus is a monster.
ganesh Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Robert Woods blocked two guys with one block to spring Tyrod for the game-changing TD. He stunk as a receiver along with Harvin
Dennis in NC Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Great call Tuesday! Saw that and LOVED it. Great avatar, Thurmal34! I used to install those things on the assembly line at the Chevy plant on Delevan Avenue - it's a TIE ROD!

Also, that was a pretty good throw by Mariota. If Gilmore doesn't come off his man, that is likely a completion to Wright and huge play. Domino effect from Marcel to Gilmore.
