YoloinOhio Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Could have swung the game. Horrible call. What is a DB supposed to do in that situation?
Andrew Son Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Brutal call... We did catch a break on the two horse collar calls though
Deranged Rhino Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 What I liked about that awful call was how the Bills kept their composure.
YoloinOhio Posted October 11, 2015 Author Posted October 11, 2015 Brutal call... We did catch a break on the two horse collar calls thoughthe broadcast said they were the same but I think the defender actually got TT under the collar and Bradham did not per a tweet from someone at the game
Big C Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Throwing Tennessee a bone, I can only assume. Maybe in real time they thought Graham hit him in the head?
Deranged Rhino Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Throwing Tennessee a bone, I can only assume. Maybe in real time they thought Graham hit him in the head? That was my take. It was a bad call, but I think that was the ref's logic.
Big C Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 the broadcast said they were the same but I think the defender actually got TT under the collar and Bradham did not per a tweet from someone at the game Bradham definitely grabbed much lower.
K-9 Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Could have swung the game. Horrible call. What is a DB supposed to do in that situation? That was a crap call and I'm not sure what a defender is allowed to do anymore. As a coach, you can't tell these guys to lay off the aggression and as a player you simply can't be timid out there. GO BILLS!!!
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 the broadcast said they were the same but I think the defender actually got TT under the collar and Bradham did not per a tweet from someone at the game I thought you had to grab the collar. No way did they do that on TT. But even if they missed the TT one, it was somewhat irrelevant. TT had already converted the first down.
Mr. WEO Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 the broadcast said they were the same but I think the defender actually got TT under the collar and Bradham did not per a tweet from someone at the game No. He didn't. It was clear right awy that it was not a horse collar. He never had TT by the collar. Multiple replays showed us this.
bladiebla Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Brutal call... We did catch a break on the two horse collar calls though I disagree, even if that wasn't a horse collar based on a grab inside the jersey, the player hitting TT after he was down and rolling on his legs should have been called; so maybe they called the wrong call it was a penalty non the less.

Big C Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 No. He didn't. It was clear right awy that it was not a horse collar. He never had TT by the collar. Multiple replays showed us this. I do think, however, it should have been unnecessary roughness on whoever came in on the late hit. Exactly.
34-78-83 Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Horrible call on Graham for sure. Could have cost the game. Penalties do matter.Pretty soon we'll all have trading cards with the refs on them. Sad state of affairs in the NFL.
Mr. WEO Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 I do think, however, it should have been unnecessary roughness on whoever came in on the late hit. Exactly. Not sure. Don't think the whistle had blown. Second guy was looking to strip i think.
LA Grant Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Pegulas need to be on the phone Monday morning with the league office for the Graham penalty.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 You have to grab the collar of the jesrsy or the pads What is sad is that Walt Anderson had a perfect view of both, and screwed them both up in real time by throwing a flag. Not a hard call-- I saw jersey grabs in real time.
/dev/null Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 The League reviews personal foul calls during the week and issues fines for blatent fouls The League should also review all penalties called during the week and fine Refs for seriously blown calls like this one
Big C Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Not sure. Don't think the whistle had blown. Second guy was looking to strip i think. He just dove right at him. Maybe whistle wasn't blown, but all in all some gray area for either call and in real time at least one of those looked like a penalty.
Fixxxer Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Criminal. What is the fine for tossing a flag to the stands? (as a player or coach)
