YoloinOhio Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Rob Johnson was the Bills quarterback in 2001, when Williams was the Bills head coach, and Johnson also played for the Bills when they faced the Titans while Williams was the Titans defensive coordinator. Johnson now says that when Williams was with the Titans, he sent a spy to the Bills training camp something that Williams confessed when he and Johnson were together in Buffalo. Johnson says that Williamss Titans defense hurt him with relentless blitzes that were aided by knowing the Bills offensive plays. http://ow.ly/35mbXV
TheFunPolice Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Is that really that big a deal? Sure it's dirty but anyone could easily do it. the practices are open for all to watch. I'm not that hungry for another scandal
Overseas Bills Fan Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Gregg Williams is a classless jackass. Bountygate proved that.
KD in CA Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 That didn't seem interesting enough to read thoroughly even once, but is this really about what may or may not have happened 15 years ago?
K-9 Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 This is a common practice in the NFL. GO BILLS!!!
billsfan89 Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Is that really that big a deal? Sure it's dirty but anyone could easily do it. the practices are open for all to watch. I'm not that hungry for another scandal Unless they meant that Gregg Williams had someone in on closed sessions like a low level player or mid level attendant then I don't see where the scandal is. Unless there is a more shady level of detail like actually having someone on the dole deep in each team I don't see this as being a huge deal.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Wait? It was a surprise that you had to blitz Rob Johnson? In other news, I just mowed my lawn wearing one of the four Rob Johnson shirts I still own.
K D Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 No it just felt like that because Rob hung on to the ball for 5+ seconds
PortlandiaEast Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 I wonder who cheated best this week and who the NFL wants to win. We will find out soon with episode 5 of the 2015 season.
PromoTheRobot Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 This is a common practice in the NFL. GO BILLS!!! We assume.
ToGoGo Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 One hour before gametime. This is better than a Friday news dump.
Mr. WEO Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 LOL---becuase that's the only way you could stop Rob Johnson. This guy's head is still dead.
/dev/null Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Rob Johnson and Greggg Williams Two names I'd rather forget were ever associated with the Bills
Saint Doug Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Who cares anymore. It was 14 years ago. I agree. With technology improving by leaps and bounds over the last 15 years, things are probably much worse now.
DC Tom Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 In training camp? So was this for the game played in Week 1 - which the Bills won? Or the playoff game - which was four months later? Either way, sounds like Gregg Williams is the idiot we always thought he was.
ToGoGo Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 So nobody cares that somebody cheated in an attempt to beat us, and was never punished for it? And the reasons are: 1. Rob Johnson sucks 2. Gregg Williams is an idiot. Yet somehow the main point is missed.
