Mikie2times
Very early, but this is often the time frame in which people look back later on and say "if we only would have won.." We would be in the playoffs as the 6th seed playing at New England if the playoffs started today. Key thing to remember, we will likely be playing for the Wild Card. So know very early on, if you think a team is going to be hanging around come December, that H2H tiebreaker will be huge. As for the next critical one outside the division, AFC Record. Titans might not feel huge, but it's a huge game. Exactly the type of game if you lose will likely come back to haunt you in tiebreakers later on. Last year the loss @ Oakland and Kansas City hurt us in the playoffs chase.
Nihilarian
WW two was a must win! The Titans are a 1-2 team coming off a bye with extra time to prepare. They beat the Buc's and lost to the Browns, Colts. Stat wise they have a top 5 defense, and are 9th in total offense Everything will depend on which Bills team shows up. The Bills D that played the Patriots with the soft cover defense or the one that played Miami, NY Giants, and the Colts. The offense that started with passing roll outs or the one that kept trying to run into a stacked box. Here is hoping Rex Ryan didn't just put his foot in his big mouth again, and the Bills win this one in Tenn. "Rex Ryan on Marcus Mariota: Kid won't have his way with us" It's kinda disturbing that the guy just refuses to learn the lesson. How many times does he have to be made to look like a fool? What purpose does it serve to say these things?
YoloinOhio
It's kinda disturbing that the guy just refuses to learn the lesson. How many times does he have to be made to look like a fool? What purpose does it serve to say these things? the question was: "Is there a pride thing having what is supposed to be the best defense in the league not letting a rookie quarterback have his way with them?" The answer was:" I dont think the kids gonna have his way against us. I dont think thats gonna happen." That was after he already talked about how good he thinks he is and how it was going to be such a tough game. . He didn't say it out of the blue, he was asked if he thought a rookie would have his way with his defense and said he didn't think so. What is the issue? Max997
If the Bills were the 6th seed they would not be playing at New England since they would hv a bye as the top seed. Bills would be playing at the 3 seed

26CornerBlitz
If the season ended today ...Andy Dalton and the Bengals would be the surprise No. 1 seed in the AFC if the playoffs began today, while a slew of 2014 playoff teams are on the outside looking in. ricojes
As much as losing hurts, losing to the NFC is least detrimental. Exactly, if you're going to lose to one of the NJ teams, this was the one...
Matt in KC
As much as losing hurts, losing to the NFC is least detrimental. Right. An insightful poster on here (I can't remember his name; something like Crayon Box?) posted an analysis a couple years ago showing how it actually helps the Bills get in the playoffs to lose to NFC opponents. iinii
a. they don't. b. there would be no cold weather advantage/disadvantage. c. beat the Titans or forget about it If the Bills were the 6th seed they would not be playing at New England since they would hv a bye as the top seed. Bills would be playing at the 3 seed the Pats aren't the one seed. They are 3-0. Both the Bengals and Broncos are 4-0. if you are going to live in a fantasy world at least know unicorns don't exist.
