26CornerBlitz Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 (edited) @ChrisBrownBills The #Bills sign K Cundiff & WR Denarius Moore. Release K Gay & PR Thigpen. More at http://Buffalobills.com Edited October 13, 2015 by 26CornerBlitz
papazoid Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 thigpen hasn't done squat. i'm still a fan of dan carpenter (probably his injury is more severe than they are saying)
YoloinOhio Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 I guess they are putting Carpenter on notice because Cundiff can do both kickoff and kicks and Gay is gone. But Cundiff doesn't strike me as ... How do I put this... "Good." I don't think Thigpen was worth the roster spot, Denarius Moore is a better player IMO.
buffaloboyinATL Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Writing on the wall for Carpenter?oh hell yeah. If they feel Cundiff can do both, he's gone. As far as Thigpen, it seemed like all he would do this year is dance around looking for an opening and get tackled with minimal gain, rather than head straight down field trying to hit a seam.

He had one decent return that was wiped out by Randell's penalty. Must have shot his confidence.
truth on hold Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 errr 35 year old Cundiff who couldn't make the browns roster. I'd rather have released carpenter outright and have gay handle kickoff and field goals.
fridge Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Is Cundiff really better than Carpenter? Really?
YoloinOhio Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Anyone else remember that game Denarius Moore had against the Bills in his rookie year? I think it was 2011. We made him look like Jerry Freaking Rice. Is Cundiff really better than Carpenter? Really?no

Dr. K Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 If they cut Carpenter for Cundiff, they are morons. I am rapidly losing any faith I ever had in Rex Ryan's judgment.

YoloinOhio Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 I agree, Dan has not fully recovered yet it could be that DC is hurt and that's why they signed Cundiff and kept both. Cundiff can KO so they got rid of Gay for the roster spot, but will cut Cundiff once DC is healthy and could always re-sign Gay if necessary because let's face it, what other team is going to sign a KO specialist? He'll be available.
flomoe Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 (edited) I'm betting carpenter heads to Either the IR or they reach an injury settlement with him Edited October 7, 2015 by flomoe
Max997 Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 I like Thigpen but I was surprised when he made the 53 considering all he does is return punts I do not like Cundiff...if they were going to sign a kicker they should hv done it a week ago when more were available. I would hv preferred Connor Barth
