26CornerBlitz Posted November 19, 2015 Author Posted November 19, 2015 @buffalobills NFL's #1 and #3 in pass breakups. So...what do we nickname this duo? Reply using #BillsCBs with your best idea!
quinnearlysghost88 Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Great kudos on ESPN for the duo: "It was a little disappointing to see from my study that they were playing as well as they were," Brady said. "But that's part of it. You're going to go against good players."
26CornerBlitz Posted November 23, 2015 Author Posted November 23, 2015 @mikerodak ICYMI: Rex Ryan: Stephon Gilmore and Ronald Darby playing as well as any 2 CBs he's seen, including Revis/Cromartie http://espn.go.com/blog/buffalo-bills/post/_/id/22289/stephon-gilmore-ronald-darby-provide-the-cornerback-play-rex-ryan-craves
26CornerBlitz Posted December 2, 2015 Author Posted December 2, 2015 Stephon Gilmore passing it onHis athletic skill set and work ethic always gave Stephon Gilmore top NFL potential that was readily apparent to anyone who saw him play. But not even the Bills knew about his willingness to lead and counsel those who came along after him. @buffalobills Third most passes defensed in the NFL in 2015. Keukasmallies Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Gilmore is the Bruce Smith of the Bills secondary: Sometimes he's there, sometimes he just ain't hustlin'.
26CornerBlitz Posted December 3, 2015 Author Posted December 3, 2015 @mikerodak Bills CB Ronald Darby is the best rookie in the NFL, according to @MelKiperESPN: http://espn.go.com/nfl/insider/story/_/id/14275896/buffalo-bills-cb-ronald-darby-tops-mel-kiper-rookie-rankings-nfl
26CornerBlitz Posted December 6, 2015 Author Posted December 6, 2015 @buffalobills Most pass breakups in the NFL, and he's a rookie. Vote Darby for the Pro Bowl: http://bufbills.co/kkpUHP
NOVABillsFan Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 (edited) To borrow two sayings. The Bills need to follow these simple concepts: Play 60 and do your job Edited December 6, 2015 by NOVABillsFan
26CornerBlitz Posted December 9, 2015 Author Posted December 9, 2015 @viccarucci Rex Ryan on #Bills CB Ronald Darby: "In my opinion, hell be the (NFL) Defensive Rookie of the Year, no doubt about it."
johnwalter Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 How is he ranking in all those QBR-against type stats after some balls got caught on him the HOU game?
Formerly Allan in MD Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 @viccarucci Rex Ryan on #Bills CB Ronald Darby: "In my opinion, hell be the (NFL) Defensive Rookie of the Year, no doubt about it." Ryan may have finally got something right.
Doc Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 How is he ranking in all those QBR-against type stats after some balls got caught on him the HOU game? He probably took a hit. Thanks mostly to the refs ignoring 2 blatant OPI's against him (first play of their final TD drive and the TD pass).
26CornerBlitz Posted December 11, 2015 Author Posted December 11, 2015 @AlexandraBills Bills cornerback @realronalddarby and his father Ronald Darby Sr both "living the dream." http://bufbills.co/3c4hQt Ronald Darby

FireChan Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 If I woulda told you in the beginning of the year we'd have two top ten CB's in the NFL and the 22ndish best pass defense, would you have believed me?
BuffaloHokie13 Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 Donnie Henderson deserves a raise. to take over as DC.
sodbuster Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 Donnie Henderson deserves a raise. to take over as DC. What difference would that make? Rex would still call the plays.
BuffaloHokie13 Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 What difference would that make? Rex would still call the plays. I do not believe that Rex makes every call on defense. He probably takes control for some stretches, but I believe the DC has more input that most care to admit.
dave mcbride Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 (edited) At the end of the day, Marcus Peters was a far superior performer than Darby, who tailed off late. Peters had 5 more breakups than Darby and led the NFL with 8 INTs (and he played on a much better defense). Edited January 6, 2016 by dave mcbride
