In a sense we're rather fortunate that McKelvin got injured and was out so long. It gave Darby a chance to play a lot, learn, and show what he's capable of.

Absolutely.

Patriots do the same thing every pre game presser.

Talk up the other team before beating their heads in.

They certainly do, but in this case it's not just a bunch of BS.

It usually isn't. I think we had about 6 straight years where BB praised Kyle Williams and Fred Jackson over and over.

Easy to do because even lousy teams have at least one or two outstanding players.

@SalSports

Bills CBs Gilmore/Darby playing outstanding. Yesterday, they gave an interview together and talked about each other: http://www.wgr550.com/Bills-CB-duo-elevating-each-other-s-games/22188531

@SalSports

Belichick: "Gilmore/Darby are playing really well. Hitting WRs, re-routing them, tackling well. That position has been strong for them."

is there video of the joint interview?

I'll never forget the TBD rants that said KW was overrated and the only reason BB praised him was to trick the Bills into keeping him.

The glory years.

They'll probably hold it for the MNF pre-game show on ESPN.

stephon gilmore is so damn laid back, it weirds me out.

his comments about not having a veteran playing at a high level whom he could go to after being drafted also struck me as a little strange, seeing as to how they could be construed as a jab at leodis.

Leo didn't really turn the corner until Donnie came 'round.
