YoloinOhio Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 (edited) @ChrisBrownBills: TE Gray has fractured forearm http://t.co/hlub76Kx1N @TyDunne: Rex says that TE MarQueis Gray may have a broken bone in his forearm. Could be out a while. Chris Gragg time. Looked good in PS, I thought. Edited October 5, 2015 by YoloinOhio
Fixxxer Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I saw Gragg on the field for a play or two yesterday. I noticed Gray twice, one was a penalty and the other he could have gained some yardage but didn't because he bobbled the ball.
Dorkington Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 I mean, sucks for Gray, but I'm pretty excited about Gragg... not sure why he hasn't caught on, he seems all around solid to me.
YoloinOhio Posted October 6, 2015 Author Posted October 6, 2015 I mean, sucks for Gray, but I'm pretty excited about Gragg... not sure why he hasn't caught on, he seems all around solid to me. thought he had a good preseason
Big C Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 thought he had a good preseason Me too. Might not be as good of a blocker as Gray. But the dude's got wheels and I think Roman will know what to do with him.
K D Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Gragg is only good when EJ is playing. so they will just have to put EJ in i suppose
atlbillsfan1975 Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 The only plays i remember from Gray on Sunday were not that great. Hope he heals up, but don't see this as a big lose.
RyanC883 Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 I mean, sucks for Gray, but I'm pretty excited about Gragg... not sure why he hasn't caught on, he seems all around solid to me. same here. I think the depth (ironically) we have at the position this year. I think Gragg can take Gray's job as the #2 TE. I think he's a better overall TE.
Utah John Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Gray had some really good plays last year, and I was hoping Roman and his TE-friendly offense would find ways to make Gray even more productive. Hasn't happened so far. Maybe next year.
YoloinOhio Posted October 7, 2015 Author Posted October 7, 2015 (edited) Per his wife on Twitter, Gray's surgery went well today. Edited October 7, 2015 by YoloinOhio
Chandler#81 Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 just to be sure, being placed on IR now -without the 'eligible to return' tag- means done for the season, right?
Hapless Bills Fan Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 just to be sure, being placed on IR now -without the 'eligible to return' tag- means done for the season, right? Yes
QB Bills Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Seriously though, how screwed are we if Clay gets hurt? The TE depth isn't too impressive here.
