stevestojan Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 What exactly are we so strongly basing the JP starts theory on? Which article is the straw that broke the camel's back? Can a brother get a link?

Fezmid Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 It's not official (and I've been saying that over and over the past few days). The News "reported" that it looks like Drew's out, and all of the other media outlets picked it up and ran with the story. They almost all say, "According to the Buffalo News, Bledsoe will be cut." The only one report was when Mort (?) said that DB was going to have to take a paycut. He said that before one of the playoff games. The media also reported that Lewis was going to be our head coach a few years back... This one seems to have a bit more steam though. CW

Tux of Borg Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 Hopefully it wasn't something NJ Sue heard on ESPN... 239070 That would require Sue to do her own research.

Buftex Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 What exactly are we so strongly basing the JP starts theory on? Which article is the straw that broke the camel's back? Can a brother get a link? 239062 Actually, on ESPN's Pro-Bowl pre-game show yesterday, Mortenson said that two sources close to Bledsoe said he would be "resistant to returning to Buffalo in a back-up role, and had asked the Bills to release him". A few hours later, the whole thing kind of blew up, and was posted in the Eagle (whatever that paper is called) and has snow-balled. Mortenson also mentioned Dallas as a possible destination for Bledsoe....
Brandon Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 The one thing to note is the utter and complete silence from Bills management on the issue. Given the fact that this rumor has been circulating for a while now, if it didn't have at least some element of truth to it, the Bills would probably be defending Bledsoe by now. They haven't done that.
