xsoldier54 Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 I just saw this over at the ESPN site. Last week the Bills were number 8. On Sunday, they went into Miami and completely destroyed the Dolphins. This week they are number 10. WTF? How do you fall two spots after a performance like that? Makes absolutely no sense.

PromoTheRobot Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 I can almost see why. 7 teams are 3-0 and they aren't quite ready to put us above Seattle or Pittsburgh.
machine gun kelly Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 I read your caption so did a search and we fluctuate between #6 and #10 in the rankings based upon the different pundits. It means nothing as stated above. I'm fine with anyone thinking we were just lucky, not very good, beat easy teams, or whatever else players want to think. In two weeks we will be 4-1 and probably beat them commandingly in the four games. We won't be able to hide at that point. Then Cincy walking into the Ralph will be a huge game. They have the Chiefs and Seahawks at home the next two weeks, and will only maybe win one of those games. Seattle will come back with Chancellor now in the fold. He is the Boom in the Legion. KC may have lost in Lambeau, but they don't suck. This could be a showdown in the Ralph of two 4-1 teams. Sounds like a great matchup. Hopefully the Bills don't read their press clippings and get caught with their pants down. We win that game, and we have the respect of the league, the pundits, and so on.
Iraq Vet Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 ESPN loves the Patriots. Most of ESPN staff members live in Patriots market area and are Patriot fans. Do you expect the Bills to get any love? Other then Chris Berman, no one gives the Bills any love or respect... same for the Jets and the Fish. Now having said.... that the Bills have proved little in the last 15 years to deserve same good pub.

PromoTheRobot Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 http://espn.go.com/nfl/powerrankings Here's the link, BTW. If we beat the Giants we'll only drop 1 to #11, while the Giants will improve by 2 to #14.
Chandler#81 Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 NFLN has us ranked 6th. They aren't permitted to show favoritism. I think that's close.

So who cares what some patriots* jock holder in Connecticut thinks.
thronethinker Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Who cares. Here is a reality check, no one cares about ESPN anymore. It is simply a background noise at the bar. We all know the news before ESPN.
CardinalScotts Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 (edited) who's doing the rankings ? I suggest you go somewhere else besides espn lots of choices....stop watching too they are absolutely brutal pro football focus has Suh as the #2 defensive tackle with his play this weekend.......goes back to Pat Kirwan- virtually no one in the media understand line play and isn't well versed enough to write and opinion or vote guys into the pro bowl. This is why there are so few offensive lineman in the hall of fame Edited September 30, 2015 by CardinalScotts

Beef Jerky Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 This just in: Power rankings mean nothing Actually it means your team did well the week before if you move up. That is why they change every week, so it does mean something.
