BmarvB Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 I'm going with Philbin in Miami. Coughlin is also on the hot seat, but he'll make it to the end of the season.
LB3 Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Philbin. Pettine and Tomsula getting a dishonorable mention.
Mango Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Wait and see how the Jags progress this season. I heard their OL coach used to be a HC. He might have the title as associate HC.
Mark80 Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Philbin. Pettine and Tomsula getting a dishonorable mention. The guy is 3 games into his first season on a team that lost 1/2 it's entire starting roster it seems to retirement and FA. They have to give him a bit of slack, no?
Canadian Bills Fan Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Philbin Pettine too because the organization is such a disaster especially the owner and GM I can see them doing something like this CBF
eball Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 The guy is 3 games into his first season on a team that lost 1/2 it's entire starting roster it seems to retirement and FA. They have to give him a bit of slack, no? They should also give him a few extra towels on the sideline.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Philbin. Pettine and Tomsula getting a dishonorable mention. Philbin has been there a few years, Pettine only 2, but it is Cleveland and Tomsula is safe as this is his 1st season where half the team changed. Caughlin maybe / finally after the next loss or two in Oct. Chip Kelly, Pagano nominees.
dave mcbride Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 (edited) Philbin has been there a few years, Pettine only 2, but it is Cleveland and Tomsula is safe as this is his 1st season where half the team changed. Caughlin maybe / finally after the next loss or two in Oct. Chip Kelly, Pagano nominees. No way does Coughlin get cashiered. He may be fading, but he's been a great coach who has won the franchise 2 super bowls against all odds, and the Giants' ownership respects and appreciates that. BmarvB Posted September 29, 2015 Author Posted September 29, 2015 Pettine should get a pass for one more year. No way does SF can their coach. He got walked into a mess that's going to take maybe 2 years to clean up.
eball Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 I really don't think any coach will be fired mid-season; that rarely happens in the NFL (certainly much less so than the other pro sports leagues). Now after the season...I predict Philbin Milquetoast is out on his ass in a jiffy.
LB3 Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 The guy is 3 games into his first season on a team that lost 1/2 it's entire starting roster it seems to retirement and FA. They have to give him a bit of slack, no? You're probably right. It just seemed like an uninspired hire to me in the first place. The way the team is headed, and I know it's early, I just personally think that that is the type of situation you just blow up entirely after the season. Philbin has been there a few years, Pettine only 2, but it is Cleveland and Tomsula is safe as this is his 1st season where half the team changed. Caughlin maybe / finally after the next loss or two in Oct. Chip Kelly, Pagano nominees. I forgot about Pagano. He's a goner.
BuffaloHokie13 Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Gruden. Never underestimate Dan Snyder.
Bills Fan in MD Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 He may not be the first to go, but I'm not so sure Lovie Smith's job is particularly safe.
stony Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Philbin Pettine too because the organization is such a disaster especially the owner and GM I can see them doing something like this CBF I said this a long time ago. The media outlets were heaping praise on him even after he hired and re-fired the front office/staff. I couldn't believe it. Total sh$t-show there.
BmarvB Posted September 29, 2015 Author Posted September 29, 2015 Gruden. Never underestimate Dan Snyder. Yeah, Gruden's seat is quite warm too. I see him surviving the season, Coughlin will be done after the season (hopefully retirement), Philbin's a done deal. Unlikely to make it through the season at this rate.
dpberr Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Jeff Fisher. Big expectations in St. Louis this year and a DESIRE to play in a new stadium. If the season goes down the tubes or it's another 6-10 season, he'll be a Dead Man Walking like Pagano.
BuffaloBill Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Philbin Pettine too because the organization is such a disaster especially the owner and GM I can see them doing something like this CBF Agreed
qwksilver Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 As long as no one takes Roman I don't really care whose 1st or last fired. Down here in South Florida, every Dolfan wants Philbin gone. If they continue to look uninspired maybe it's him
