Canadian Bills Fan
I think Williams has shown he can handle being the #1RB if McCoy needs to sit CBF

GunnerBill
id dress him, but keep the workload as light as possible in the game. save his touches for when we need him and need him 100% Me too. Dress him but start Karlos and have Boobie back him up and if we are really struggling to move it when Boobie comes in and we need to at that point of the game then give McCoy a couple of carries but dress him with the intention that he doesnt see the field unless necessary. keepthefaith
Sit. Rule of thumb for hammy's: For as long as it takes to feel right when running, wait another equal amount of time before resuming to full speed running. He should probably sit for weeks. YoloinOhio
@mikerodak: Rex Ryan says hell let the Bills experts their medical staff make a decision on whether LeSean McCoy should sit or play. @SalSports: Rex says they'll do whatever is in best interest of the team and will let docs tell him what they think about Shady, as far as resting him
die hard bills fan
so if they sit McCoy do they bring up wood from the ps?
YoloinOhio
so if they sit McCoy do they bring up wood from the ps?they would need a roster spot. If AW is ok then they could use Meeks spot... But Rex said he's still stiff/sore.

Probably need to free up a spot for when Goodwin returns as well

If shady sits I would be afraid of only having Williams and Dixon as rb's. If Williams gets hurt it's Dixon alone unless you want to put Thigpen back there. klos63
Im all for resting both McCoy and Watkins against the Giants. Not sure why we should rest Watkins, what if he is healthy enough to play?
Leroi
On one leg, Shady is better than most RBs. Play him until he pukes.... Imo

If Williams gets hurt it's Dixon alone unless you want to put Thigpen back there. harvin could take a few too, plus you start to lean into quick passes instead of running in that situation. thats why its nice to dress him but keep him limited pitch count if you can, assuming hes in that "he could go but its better if he rests" status
SF Bills Fan
Easy decision- sit him. Karlos is carrying the load for now and we have many contributors on the offense. Giants and Tennessee are two game that are ideal to sit him.
YoloinOhio
I think we need him to beat the NYG though
Formerly Allan in MD
Hamstrings are repeaters; it doesn't take much activity or quick movement. Even one week of rest may not be sufficient. Ideally, you take the week off. But if you do, activate Wood and sit Dixon.
DC Greg
I own both in fantasy. I strongly urge McCoy to sit. B) Oh hell yes. I'm right there with you. I don't own McCoy, but Blount is bye next week and Gruden hates Freddy Morris. Let's get Shady fully healthy and give Karlos the Hoss a full load!
