26CornerBlitz Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 (edited) @TBNSports #Bills’ LeSean McCoy may sit to rest hamstring. @TyDunne at BN Blitz: http://bills.buffalonews.com/2015/09/27/bills-mccoy-may-sit-to-rest-hamstring/ @mikerodak Could the Bills sit LeSean McCoy to rest his hamstring? Here's what he and Rex Ryan said about it: http://es.pn/1P0HZeX Edited October 16, 2015 by 26CornerBlitz
NextYearGuys Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 I think he should. Karlos will be just fine by himself for a game. Imagine a 100% Shady with the Karlos we've been seeing. Y I K E S
Big Blitz Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 I own both in fantasy. I strongly urge McCoy to sit. B)
Freddie's Dead Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 If we decide to sit LeShady, do we really go in with only Karlos, Boobie, and Felton? Boobie has shown absolutely nothing so far pounding the rock. Do we activate Cierre Wood? This could get interesting.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 28, 2015 Author Posted September 28, 2015 McCoy admits hamstring acting up Bills RB LeSean McCoy has been battling his way through a hamstring injury he sustained more than a month ago. He’s been up front that he hasn’t felt 100 percent, but at the same time he doesn’t want to miss games. “My hamstring was really acting up so I wasn’t really effective like I wanted to be but we got the win, so that’s all that matters,” said McCoy who was clearly frustrated that his hamstring didn’t respond Sunday. “I just was trying to go. Can’t really go like I want to.”
BuffaloHokie13 Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 give him 10 or less carries and let Karlos do the rest imo
DrDawkinstein Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Im all for resting both McCoy and Watkins against the Giants.
YoloinOhio Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 They should probably sit him this week
Dorkington Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Sit him and Watkins for a few weeks, unless we start having a really hard time moving the ball. Feed Karlos, bring up Cierre to run behind him... never let Boobie touch the ball in this offense.
YoloinOhio Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 They should use Percy in the backfield
BuffaloBillsForever Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 McCoy admits hamstring acting up Injury prone?
Fadingpain Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 If he can make it that long, McCoy could sit for a long while during the London/Bye/Miami section of the schedule coming up. He could miss all of that without hurting us.
Webster Guy Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Rest Shady for as long as it takes until he's healthy. If it's one week or 8 weeks, get the guy HEALTHY. He isn't winning games for us or looking dominant because he said he doesn't have a burst. gee.....uh..... maybe some rest and treatment would help DUH. Instead we have him running around the field stressing the injury in 88 degree heat in a game we had wrapped up in the first half. We have Karlos and enough guys to carry the load. The biggest concern with this team is health. Shady, Watkins, Harvin are our best three game breakers and they're all EXTREMELY injury prone. Our strength and conditioning personnel need to sit Rex down and school him on proper rehab time frames and what happens when injuries are aggravated.
dpberr Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 "Rest Shady for as long as it takes until he's healthy. If it's one week or 8 weeks, get the guy HEALTHY." +1 I'd shelve him until November 12 against the Jets if need be. I'm not underestimating the defenses of October but I don't think they are so formidable that the other guys couldn't handle them.
BuffaloBill Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Sit him. We need him at 100% when the weather gets ugly....
NoSaint Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 id dress him, but keep the workload as light as possible in the game. save his touches for when we need him and need him 100%
Best Player Available Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Sit him. We need him at 100% when the weather gets ugly.... Yep, not only when the weather gets ugly, but when the late season battles comes up. And (hopefully) playoff seeding is important. that is when you want him healthy. Sit him 2 weeks if necassary.
