The split between a team's offensive and defensive passer ratings is regarded by many as the most accurate predictor of team success. So, despite the fact that the Bills are 30th in yards allowed, I'm not terribly concerned (yet). The Bills offense has a 116.1 team passer rating, and opponents have a 78.1 rating. That +38 split is huge.

The Bills sack total - 6 (2 per game) - is fairly anemic, but they're actually tied for 11th in the league. If they have one of those "feast" games against the Giants, their ranking will shoot up.

I'm hoping Rex and Dennis Thurman are still perfecting the execution of their scheme as well as fine-tuning it to the strengths and weaknesses of the players on the roster.

Rex typically has his Ds in the top ten, if not the top 5. I'd like to see top 3 this season with this cast.

NE rattled our QB and we rattled the QBs not playing for NE. It's a big part of our 2-1 record and I do think Dave's stats are meaningful.
