What's our # of redzone trips vs the league, to make this actually have meaning/context?

Given our struggles it's certainly progress from last year but what kind of progress?

I don't know what the league average is but Buffalo has been in the red zone 4 times this year.

Just pulled it up- tied for last in trips. I'll be curious how we do as attempts go up. It's an important stat that we've been really bad at.

Positive though- means we are scoring from a distance regularly!

that isn't a lot but at least they are cashing in when they get there. last year they were at 43%

Not seen much I'm sure, tied for last in red zone trips, but when they get there they score tds 100% and are fourth in the league in scoring at 29.5 pts a game.

And off the top of my head I can think of four TDs that were 20+ yards so far.

Bomb to Percy

26 from Special K

Rollout laser to Woods

Go route to Sammy.

Clearly they've been scoring, but in evaluating how much weight a situational stat gets, you've got to see how often they are in the situation.

We knew they are putting up points though.

Offense #2 in the league in rushing, and with 4 rushing TDs. Karlos Williams with 2, Dixon & Taylor with one each. The #1 offense in rushing TD's. #4 in offensive points, and # 16 in offensive yards. (Whoda thunk it)?

Defense #24 in points against, 28th in yards allowed. 32nd in passing attempts, 32nd in passing yards allowed. #1 in rushing attempts, and #2 in rushing yards allowed.

if every team had played Luck and Brady to start the season I don't think we would be ranked so low in pass D... but time to improve on that! Edited by YoloinOhio

It is probably high since the Bills are scoring 29+ ppg

If you read on, we are tied for last. So we are doing well in explosive scoring plays, which given our personnel makes sense.

That's 5.
