TakeYouToTasker Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Shouldn't this be combined into the "UFO" thread?
Mike in Horseheads Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Shouldn't this be combined into the "UFO" thread? No this is scientific evidence not Sci-fi speculation.
Deranged Rhino Posted September 28, 2015 Author Posted September 28, 2015 No this is scientific evidence not Sci-fi speculation. Agreed. I put a link to the article in the UFO thread but this is legit science news.
snafu Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 My bet is Dinosaurs. They left Mars long ago when they figured out the planet was dying and came here (then died -- but not before teaching ancient humans how to build civilization). Merge that with the UFO thread!

Either way it could make manned missions to the red planet far easier.

DC Tom Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Agreed. I put a link to the article in the UFO thread but this is legit science news. Really? You think it's just a coincidence that this "news" coincides with the release of The Martian?
PastaJoe Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Given the existence of salt brine to make an ice rink, Gary Bettman will be announcing that the 2020 Winter Classic will be on Mars, sponsored by Virgin Galactic.
Lurker Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Really? You think it's just a coincidence that this "news" coincides with the release of The Martian? Nope. But savvy timing on NASA's part to capitalize on what's sure to be a hit movie about Mars exploration and science nerds...
