Dave in Avon Lake now Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 I'm in a 2 QB fantasy league and with Drew Brees out for Sunday, I'm plugging in Tyrod. My other QB is Tannehill so I'm hoping for a shootout in this league. In my other league I have Tannehill as my starter with Tyrod on the bench. Who would you start for fantasy points only?
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Tanny is more proven, bills defense however is better. I'm going Tyrod if I'm you
jr1 Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Go with the Rod. Dolphins have a lot of injuries
LB3 Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 (edited) Tyrod, no question. He's currently top 5. Roll with it. Never play the QB playing us if you have Taylor. You'll feel dirty with the consolation if he Tannehill does well and beats the Bills. Edited September 25, 2015 by LBSeeBallLBGetBall
Luxy312 Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 In standard scoring systems where passing TD's are 4 and rushing are 6, I would go with Tyrod. He doesn't need to do much on the ground to equalize a guy throwing for 300 yards and 3 touchdowns.
White Linen Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 (edited) Tyrod - in terms of there's a higher percentage that he scores more points. Edited September 25, 2015 by Triple Threat
KollegeStudnet Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 He's fifth overall QB in fantasy. Start Tyrod. I had him projected for 225 yards passing, 2 TD passing, 40 rushing yards and a possible rushing TD I'm also starting Clay.
NoSaint Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 He adds rushing yards and good yards after catch options. Not a "gimme" but seems a good fantasy bet to use tyrod
Nihilarian Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Neither actually,I think its going to be a defensive struggle this game. While Taylor is currently lighting it up in fantasy points I tend to stay away from Bills players because I always think they will do well, and once I start them they usually don't.
stevestojan Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 I sat Luck week 1 in favor of Tyrod, knowing full well I was playing with my heart and not my brain. It worked out but I can never start an opposing team's QB. No part of me should be happy when I watch out safety stand clueless when a TE scores a TD.
4merper4mer Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Do you really want to lose a game because you were playing with your Talleywhacker?
PromoTheRobot Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Taylor had only 2.26 fewer fantasy points last week than Brady.

One the backstory and two the Phins lbs are suspect
JohnnyK Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 I start the guy on the other team, if the bills win great if they lose at least I have that guy to root for during the game (quietly in my head)!!!
Mr. WEO Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 You drafted both Tannehill and Tyrod in 2 different leagues??
Dave in Avon Lake now Posted September 27, 2015 Author Posted September 27, 2015 (edited) Thanks for the advice guys. I killed with Tyrod in both leagues. Edited September 27, 2015 by Dave in Cromwell
