Prickly Pete Posted September 23, 2015 Share Posted September 23, 2015 I keep hearing that Brady knew where he would be going pre-snap, that he was picking out who was the mismatch and immediately throwing to that receiver. I have to think the best way to combat that is to lure him into certain throws. At least if you know where he will throw it, you might be able to take advantage of it. Was fluid, made adjustments on catches. @Andy_Benoit: Film: closed and condensed formations a run-indicator for #Patriots in this one. @Andy_Benoit: Film: #Bills more man coverage with a shallow lurk defender as game progressed. Way to counter #Patriots quick-strike passes and crosses. @Andy_Benoit: #Bills Film: Kyle Williams with initial quickness made a little bit of noise. Guards Jackson and Mason both had trouble with him at times. @Andy_Benoit: #Patriots Film: Kline moved to LG and Jackson came in at RG late in 3rd qtr @Andy_Benoit: Film: #Patriots employed same shift and concept as 2-yd Gronk TD later in game. It was brutally clear he knew pre-snap where to throw. Whether he picked out the mismatch, or had someone whispering it in his ear is open to debate... Darby excellent job defending those vertical routes. @Andy_Benoit: Film: Edelman 22-yd TD shallow cross away from moving pocket PA (first time #Patriots showed that). No #Bills accounted for him. Well, if it's that predictable where he will throw it, then the Bills have the benefit of knowing where too. Execution and schematic wrinkles took away routes, big factor on some of the sacks. @Andy_Benoit: #Bills film: Underrated aspect of McCoys game is pass pro.
