bmur66 Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Make the extra point. Make the field goal. Make the two point conversion and guess what. Tie game with 2 minutes left and Bills ball! OK, making the two point conversion may be a stretch (50/50?) but the extra point and field goal should have been made. The Bills could have been more conservative and played for a field goal or OT on their last drive. Just saying
LeGOATski Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Tough loss. Let's not play the woulda/shoulda/coulda game. This board will gradually come back to its sense in time for the Miami game.
bmur66 Posted September 21, 2015 Author Posted September 21, 2015 I thought Carpenter missed a field goal. This didn't happen so I am an idiot. Nothing here to see. Carry on.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 (edited) I thought Carpenter missed a field goal. This didn't happen so I am an idiot. Nothing here to see. Carry on. 32 - 40 IIRC - he missed a PAT/ EP and the Bills missed two 2 pt conversions. 3 to 5 points off the board. Had they made the 2 pt conversions and EP the score could have been 37 to 40. A FG at the end of the 4th could have tied it. Otherwise - 3 possible points missed on PAT's = 35 to 40. They would have needed a TD in the last 2 minutes. Mark80 Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Had the Patriots not scored any points we would have won 32-0.
Nanker Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Had the Patriots not scored any points we would have won 32-0. +1 I like this for the Fixborough score.
Maury Ballstein Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 I thought Carpenter missed a field goal. This didn't happen so I am an idiot. Nothing here to see. Carry on. Carp goes home week 3. Salvation for the both of you is near.
Special K Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 If he didn't miss the first EP, they would not have gone for two either time, so really it's only a three point difference. Down by five with 1:15 would have at least made the final drive a drive for the win instead of a tie.
