LA Grant Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Everyone thought this match-up was going to be the one that swung the game in the Bills favor — yet Brady didn't seem to face much pressure from the middle. What happened here?
The Wiz Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Everyone thought this match-up was going to be the one that swung the game in the Bills favor yet Brady didn't seem to face much pressure from the middle. What happened here? Brady got the ball off quick and we were playing 10-15 yards off on the outside.
Peter Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 On average, how many seconds elapsed before Brady threw the ball?
LA Grant Posted September 20, 2015 Author Posted September 20, 2015 (edited) There were some plays when Brady took his time. When there was pressure, it didn't seem to come from the middle. Yes, Brady got the ball out quick, but we knew to expect that coming into the game — I thought interior pressure was going to be the answer. Edited September 20, 2015 by LA Grant
LeGOATski Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Brady got the ball off quick and we were playing 10-15 yards off on the outside. I was expecting them to start gambling and jumping those short passes, but it never happened.
LA Grant Posted September 20, 2015 Author Posted September 20, 2015 I was expecting them to start gambling and jumping those short passes, but it never happened. The group I watched with was wondering this too. Why were the corners not playing more aggressive in jumping routes?
dayman Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 LA Grant is right, there were some plays where Brady has a ridiculous amount of time. With that said, the ball was gone...hard to fault Dareus for not routinely wrecking havock but it is a HUGE problem when we pay somewhere around a quarter billion dollars for a DLine that doesn't matter and makes no difference in a game against the champs.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 On average, how many seconds elapsed before Brady threw the ball? This is the story. Brady got the ball out very quickly and the Bills' coverage was not good at all.
goldenboy81 Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 (edited) I was expecting them to start gambling and jumping those short passes, but it never happened. Me too but instead they stayed 10 yards off Edited September 20, 2015 by goldenboy81
DriveFor1Outta5 Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 I don't like this post, I'm having visions of Haynesworth. I know it's too soon. Just hope we don't see a different player now. It's happened time and time again.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 @TyDunne Dareus: "There’s not much you can do if the quarterback’s getting the ball out. Two seconds, 3 seconds, there’s nothing you can really do.”
BringBackOrton Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 @TyDunne Dareus: "There’s not much you can do if the quarterback’s getting the ball out. Two seconds, 3 seconds, there’s nothing you can really do.” So we will never be able to beat the Patriots then...
Freddie's Dead Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Everyone thought this match-up was going to be the one that swung the game in the Bills favor — yet Brady didn't seem to face much pressure from the middle. What happened here? Whenever I hear about a Pats lineman out, rookie replacement, etc. I've stopped being excited. The guys they plug in NEVER give up sacks, EVER! Mr Big ****, er, Stuff was a non-factor today, as I expected.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 So we will never be able to beat the Patriots then... Not until they are more focused and learn to execute better.
Mr. WEO Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 @TyDunne Dareus: "There’s not much you can do if the quarterback’s getting the ball out. Two seconds, 3 seconds, there’s nothing you can really do.” Why didn't he admit that before Pegula paid him all that money?
RuffMuff Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 3 rookie lineman against a $250 million D line. It was embarrassing.
NoSaint Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 So we will never be able to beat the Patriots then... Use coverage to slow down the release
