stevestojan Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 There is a lot to be upset about today mainly that Brady dropped back 476 times and got sacked twice. But before the season, there was nothing to point to us hanging nearly 60 points on the two best team in last years AFC. There was a lot to hate, and maybe it wasn't as close as the score showed, but this was the Pats. They are the best team in the league. Here's to next week. Go Bills.
Virgil Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 You want to win a championship, you can't get humiliated like that when playing the best.
stevestojan Posted September 20, 2015 Author Posted September 20, 2015 You want to win a championship, you can't get humiliated like that when playing the best. Yeah, no ****. And I'm well aware of your opinion on the subject. Today sucked. But there's still plenty of reason to be positive.
NoSaint Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 You want to win a championship, you can't get humiliated like that when playing the best. Sure you can. It certainly happens even to good teams. But you can't make a habit of it.
BringBackOrton Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 I don't know how much of today's offensive numbers you can take seriously. It seemed as if they were playing prevent for much of the second half. Offense did not get moving until the game was basically out of reach.
Deranged Rhino Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 You want to win a championship, you can't get humiliated like that when playing the best. Oh really? You sure about that? I seem to remember last year's champs getting embarrassed on national TV early in the season and everyone calling them finished.
Ozymandius Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Pats got humiliated by KC last season, then went on to win it all. Awful game, but it can be overcome.
Agent 91 Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Why do people say that? What does it matter about who did what last year. How do we know the colts are any good THIS YEAR. Whats is the correlation. We were trash last year. And we are much improved. Last year is history. The future is what im about and I DO NOT respect those teams

The Frankish Reich Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Well, that's one way of looking at it ... but it is true that I had us down for 0-2 at this point (facing the 2 best QBs in the AFC after all), and instead we're 1-1 ...

We beat a good team and then lost to a good team. The drama llamas calling this team garbage and throwing in the towel really need to find a hobby or something.

Well it's an interesting observation. And, as in most losses (and wins) there are positive (and negative) take-aways. I'm staying away from most of the game threads today, because, as usual, there are far too many over-reactions. But I will say this one thing. Rex was right, the Bills were out-coached today. There was a long stretch where I couldn't understand the offensive philosophy. And also some stretches where the defense seemed fairly rudderless. But to their credit, the coaches did make some adjustments. Just too few, too late.

BringBackOrton Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 (edited) It was baffling to me while I was watching. I don't even understand the thought process in our approach today. We played the Pats exactly how you can't play them to have a chance. Most yards by Brady in his career against Buffalo. They threw it nearly 60 times, BB felt more comfortable slingin it for one yard then he did running. Edited September 21, 2015 by jmc12290
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 I also hated the game plan and that is not an over-reaction. This loss falls on the coaching staff way more than the players.
Thurmal34 Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Our QB was a chump today. There are few positives to take from his play.
