I like to think of it more along the lines that our coaching staff was better at exploiting the weaknesses of the other team with the players we have and they couldn't adjust to it. We'll see against NE. I hope so. I think sometimes Rex falls in love with his own creative imagination and "back to basics" would help, but maybe he's learned something. Here's an interesting Q re: Roman. He was OC on the SF49ers during a pretty remarkable run 2011-2014, without an unquestioned elite QB. And yet when has his name come up as a HC candidate?
