PromoTheRobot Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Johnson was considered a placeholder going into the season but he's been playing well. He's better than Ullmark right now.

YoloinOhio Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 @BuffNewsVogl Sabres' Evander Kane is taking 50 kids from Boys and Girls Club to Chef's for dinner followed by Target shopping spree tonight. what a diva!
26CornerBlitz Posted December 18, 2015 Author Posted December 18, 2015 @TheHockeyNews Buffalo has a beast on its hands in Rasmus Ristolainen: http://bit.ly/1Pdl4hb With Buffalo leading Anaheim 2-0 last night, Sabres defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen collected a loose puck and swooped in from the right wall towards the Ducks net. He made a move in front and Jamie McGinn ended up with the back-breaking 3-0 goal. I couldn’t help but feel like I had seen a very similar play before and I think most of Finland might be with me on this one.Slightly more than two years ago, Ristolainen scored the golden goal for Finland at the world juniors in Malmo. Facing a great Swedish team on Swedish soil, Ristolainen had swooped in from the right wall, put a fiendish move on defenseman Robert Hagg and in this case, buried the overtime winner himself for a 3-2 gold-medal shocker.Based on what Ristolainen has been doing this year for the Sabres, I suppose his heroics in Malmo were more of a preview than anything.
26CornerBlitz Posted December 18, 2015 Author Posted December 18, 2015 @BuffaloSabres #Sabres lines: McGinn-O'Reilly-Reinhart Kane-Eichel-Ennis Girgensons-Larsson-Gionta Moulson-Legwand-Deslauriers C.O'Reilly extra, #82 in red @BuffNewsVogl By looks of practice, Sabres forward Tyler Ennis will be back Saturday against Chicago. Ristolainen absent today.
26CornerBlitz Posted December 18, 2015 Author Posted December 18, 2015 @BuffaloSabres Ennis: Excited to get back. It's tough to sit and watch. Can't wait to play. Eichel on playing w/Kane, combined for goal last night: We're building some chemistry. Good relationship off ice, usually translates on ice.

bbb Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 @TheHockeyNews Buffalo has a beast on its hands in Rasmus Ristolainen: http://bit.ly/1Pdl4hb But if the end sum of this season is Ristolainen adjusting to a huge work load while Eichel and Reinhart continue to mature, that’s gotta be seen as a win. And hey; the Sabres can still win the draft lottery even if they don’t have the top odds. How does it work this year? I know the top 4 spots are up for grabs. Schopp had this article the other day about it, tanking, etc.: http://www.wgr550.com/Leaf-peeping-enviously/22282095
