jumbalaya Posted September 20, 2015 Author Posted September 20, 2015 Through 3 and a half quarters 4 catches for 26 yards and he bobbled two of those and almost lost one fumble. Then he caught a TD on a broken play. Whoppee. He drops a very catchable ball that gets INT to seal the loss. Percy is the #1 on this team. Wood should start ahead of Sammy. This guy is starting to wear the BUST label. Three or four Pats WRs outperform him.

FireChan Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 All knee-jerks aside, Sammy has to catch that ball.
4merper4mer Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 All knee-jerks aside, Sammy has to catch that ball. And Marrone is a good coach. That thing was 5 feet over his head and Woods had a better shot at it.
FireChan Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 And Marrone is a good coach. That thing was 5 feet over his head and Woods had a better shot at it. Hit him in both of his hands. WR's jump for balls and catch them all the time.
BringBackOrton Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Hit him in both of his hands. WR's jump for balls and catch them all the time. Agreed. Sammy has to come down with that.

LeGOATski Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 (edited) Hit him in both of his hands. WR's jump for balls and catch them all the time. They also jump for balls and miss them all the time. Did you watch OBJ last week? That guy who everyone likes to compare Sammy to. Even he dropped balls. I know. It's unbelievable. Numark3 Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 It wasn't sammys fault, but I bet he wishes he had a chance to make that catch again, and I bet he makes that more often than not. He's a special player that can make special plays, and he had a chance to make a special catch and he didn't.
Alphadawg7 Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 (edited) Hit him in both of his hands. WR's jump for balls and catch them all the time. That is a very low percentage catch Edited September 20, 2015 by Alphadawg7

FireChan Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 They also jump for balls and miss them all the time. Did you watch OBJ last week? That guy who everyone likes to compare Sammy to. Even he dropped balls. I know. It's unbelievable. Sure they do. I would just like him to catch the ball. He was pricey and he should make good plays in big moments. I guess you don't agree. That's cool. A fan favorite saying that is often terribly untrue It'd be different if he got crushed right as it hit him, he was untouched.
DriveFor1Outta5 Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 All I will say is 9 times out of 10 Sammy would have made that play at Clemson. That's exactly why we traded our lives away for him. The only issue is that this is the NFL, not college. The footsteps come at you a lot louder. He's no longer a man amongst boys.
BringBackOrton Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 A fan favorite saying that is often terribly untrue If that was Scott Chandler, would your opinion be different?
NoSaint Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 If that was Scott Chandler, would your opinion be different? I'd have to see a replay on it, honestly, but my opinion that fans terribly misuse the phrase often would remain.

LA Grant Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 That wasn't a great ball, but if it hits you in the hands, YOU HAVE TO CATCH THAT. Robert Woods makes that catch.
