Translation: PC rules demanded by Inflexible left wingers need only apply to other people but not to enlightened 'progressives' like me.

Nothing new to see here folks.

"Whitesplaining"? We think there's something inherently racist in what you're saying, so we're going to coin a race-based term to describe it?

That sums up my opinion of the hypersensitive race-baiters to a tee.

And how is he relevant anymore? Doesn't he know he's too old to play the lead in the Hollywood blockbuster, "The Tom* Brady* Story"?

That's a role tailor made for Justin Timberlake.

I'm waiting to watch the episode before I comment, but here's the apology:

"I believe deeply that there need to be more diverse filmmakers making movies. I love making movies. It’s what I have chosen to do with my life and I want every young person watching ‘Project Greenlight’ to believe that filmmaking is a viable form of creative expression for them too.

My comments were part of a much broader conversation about diversity in Hollywood and the fundamental nature of ‘Project Greenlight’ which did not make the show. I am sorry that they offended some people, but, at the very least, I am happy that they started a conversation about diversity in Hollywood. That is an ongoing conversation that we all should be having.”

This idiocy was nicely lampooned in last night's South Park (which also included a Tom Brady tie-in).

Amazing how today's young left-wingers have become such mindless robots.

The scene with the pregnant Mexican women, orphans, taco launchers, and Jared almost killed me.

An online petition to make him Damon apologize?

I can't wait until you SoProgs have to go back to work so you'll stop trying to make people do things simply because you have too much free time on your hands.

Damon is simply saying that when hiring people behind the scenes, it's important to focus on getting the right person for the job. When hiring on screen, you need to prioritize race instead of merit to push the propaganda. A rare moment of truth.
